Dude. I'm about to pop a blood vessel.

Made 4 orders, two before official launch two after.

Both my orders before launch were cancelled, including one that was over $150 w/ a whole bunch of other stuff in it! I'm so pissed off because Sushi Kiss was in that order from AAO and now it's sold out!!!!!!!!!!!

On a brighter note, if there's anything remotely bright.. I made two orders after the launch w/ each of the three l/s after i saw that both of my earlier orders were cancelled (i have yet to receive a cancellation email). Of course by the time my other orders were cancelled and i ordered only RRW was in stock the other two were backordered already. But both my RRW's are shipped. Hopefully they don't do take backs like they did to others.

Man.. I've gone through many online collection launches.. including Marilyn Monroe... and I've never been so pissed off.

On another note, I've been avoiding specktra for quite some time.. trying to avoid buying additional make up until I at least SWATCH all of my items.. but I couldn't stay away. I miss everyone! Hello!!!

She asked that Janice or Dawn delete her account all together. She didn't feel comfortable here basically because she felt as though all the cancelled orders were her fault.

Lets be honest guys, yes she told, but do you think a MILLION Billion matter of fact, dollar corporation wouldnt have known? When they started to ship out they would have known the dates and time....your order numbers arent just numbers, they are shipped out in order... No need to blame her or for her to blame herself...

i got my shipping email from mac and on the ups tracking it says it can't locate my shipment...should i be worried

I wouldn't worry, I dont know if its because I live in California but that always happens to me (every single order). Im usually not able to locate my package til about two days after mac says they have shipped and its usually still in Kentucky when I do lol..... I think you're good

Really speaking on coffee, anyone have a favorite brand?

My fav is Peet's. It started here in Berkeley, by Mr. Peet, a real character, who i ran into back in the late 1960s. Now there are some Peet's in other big cities in the US and it's sold in some supermarkets.

I prefer the Indonesian coffees - Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Garuda Blend - because they have a lot of body as well as flavor. I am also fond of Ethiopian which has much less body, but a nice flavor.

I'm on the e-mail list, and sometimes they get coffees they don't have enough of to sell in their stores, but they sell to people on the list. I've gotten some really nice coffees that way - small production from countries in East Africa, India, and other places.

I have one Burberry lipstick and it's pretty nice. It's long wearing, comfortable to wear and the packaging is pretty neat, too.

Don't you just love the packaging? Ugh....I'm getting the urge to order a lippie now lol

I love, love, love Diva that was my first mac lipstick and they only one I've finished multiple times, I think is way darker than Heaux though...of course judging from the swatches here...

I'm sorry some of you guys are having a horrible time with mac! Did you all talk to real people? I've had only amazing customer service with them! They even let me return something a year old! Lol I had never used it and granted I shop A lot but I wouldn't take the bad customer service! I'm just wondering if its all automated. What a mess. I had decided to skip though it being in stock still is making me itch lol

I called CS and asked for an explanation why one was cancelled. She said it was an accident. She told me to place another other order while I was on the phone with her. She then typed a note for the order to go through.

Well according to mac my order is at the warehouse getting ready to ship my post order. My pre orders was cancelled and my bu heaux is on backorder.so I got 1 heaux 1 riri boy And the lustre drops coming my way

Hi ladies, I placed an order pre-launch (about 12am-1am or so? I really can't remember but it was around that time) and received my order today. (What happened to orders placed before launch would be canceled?) Anywho, I contacted customer service around 3pm (launch day) saying I wanted to cancel my order (pre-launch order) because the hectic waiting room was just ridiculous. Sat there for 3 hours with no luck thinking that if I got an order post-launch then I can cancel the first order. Turns out, I had no luck with the waiting room and just contacted CS to cancel everything. (because it was going to be canceled anyways) but now I have a package and yes its unopened! (thats how annoyed I am with mac!!)... I gotta go out of my way now to return the item cause I really don't care for it anymore! And I asked to cancel it but I guess they processed the order before they received my request. Was lightning fast shipping though! Anywho, I will stay away from mac for now. I might regret returning the items lol but I really am not happy with mac right now. It left a sour taste in my mouth.

No one is telling anyone how to spend their money... I understand that some are ordering for other people BUT there are some who order 2,3,4 BUs for their OWN personal use. YES, MAC should change the amount of LE products they sell and their way of releasing LE products. HOWEVER, they have not. We all know this. We all know they stress that you only buy one of each product, yet some people choose to get greedy and order several BUs for THEMSELVES. These are the people I don't understand.

I agree with this. I understand that some people get them for others, but deep down, we are still ordering more than one and we all know that MAC is very tight with quantities. I wouldn't feel right getting more than one, knowing someone else might be left without the chance!
In an ideal world MAC would make as many as needed or change their ways, but it doesn't seem like they will. From what I've been reading from most of the posts on this thread A LOT of people ordered more than one of each. MAC didn't handle it well but I think it was honourable of them to try and limit to one per person. I don't think we should criticize that if we then go and buy multiples when we know stock is limited. If someone has a friend who needs another one they should order with a different card and address, problem solved.

My Heaux & Riri Boy are backordered. After looking at swatches, think I'm gonna cancel on RRB and just get Heaux. I already have Revlon Berry Haute.

I keep forgetting I have this.
