I was looking for the following pictures because I remember seeing them a while back but when I looked in the galley I couldnt find them so I went page to page trying to get a better look of the 159 brush and I found the links Naynadine posted a while back from a blog



Is this the 159 brush? ^^^

Ok, because I'm one anxious heaux (pun intended), I had another online chat with mac and I think we finally have an answer that makes sense on the release of TT.

159 brush

Seems like there have been a lot of good blushes from MAC this year--still loving Ripe for Love, Poised from Strong Woman. and all the cheek products (blush and pearlmattes) from Archie. Also Royal Sunset. Now these blushes too! It's nice to see the high quality in their blush/highlighter range.

I hope it launches Monday too but I hope we get a few more swatches before then! I'm pretty sure I'm sticking to my list but I would like a swatch of Tropica to make sure it has color and not just glitter. Don't want another pretty disappointment like Frost At Midnight lol

Idk how I feel about MAC right now after all this fiasco with riri. I want the 159 and I think sweet samba but idk if ill go through with it... I guess I'll have to see if I can't find a dupe for some of these. I love msf products... That's my weakness. Everything else I can pass in... But msf.... Argh

My Mac store didn't have testers made yet on Tues when I had planned to see it (they got the collection in on Mon). It absolutely made no sense to see the items in boxes but unable to touch and feel, lol . My only other planned available free-day to view and swatch is 2moro but I was just offered an OT shift (Mac $$$ dilemma!). I just checked and one of the make-up artist who is willing to play with me is closing when I get off work 2moro. Hopefully I will be able to post swatches 2moro night. I will be dead tired but will try to do my best. We may have more pics before then but the more the merrier.

I was just at my freestanding store and the SA showed me the collection! Can't wait to get my hands on some of the items- She told me they were launching it this coming Thursday. It's not a pro store just a freestanding store. I even asked just to be sure and she said yes they would have it this coming Thursday...:shock:

I just called my local Mac also and the SA said it comes out next Thursday in store.

No swatches as I had both my kiddos with me and I was trying to keep them from ruining the store in the 2 seconds I had to look at the collection. I was immediately drawn to fever isle, midnight mango and rio. The 159 looked nice too. There was an eyeshadow that looked beautiful- blue and gold. A lot of the MsFs looked too similar but again I didn't get to swatch! I did ask if they got a small amount of stock as they had in past releases and she said surprisingly they got a pretty good amount in.

Hah! I know what it's like going to MAC with two kiddies. I always have a purse filled with goodies when I know I wanna do some shopping. Yes Rio looks beautiful! Hopefully this collex doesn't sell out fast

Normally I have the stroller and some form of entertainment but this was a surprise trip as i happened to drive by and see they were open early so i was unprepared!

Laura Mercier came out with a baked blush/ bronzer recently called Ritual that I LOVE, so much so that I actually bought two as it is sooo pretty on my skin, and at first glance Rio reminds me of it so I'm not sure that I need Rio. Ill have to swatch on Thursday as Rio looked to be more chunky than the LM...

I agree, and by that logic, the price of higher end brands will increase as well... It'd be nice if our incomes went up at that rate, too, but overall it's not happening yet. I hope TT comes out on schedule so I can get my MSF and be done with it!! Oh, and I tried the 187 with Definitely Defined and really liked the results! I guess the other products I tried it with were too subtle.

What's your color? I've heard a lot of good things about the LM. Guess it's time to run to Sephora...with a bag full of snacks lol ;) thanks for the heads up

This time of year I'm NC25 but I waver between 20 up to 30 by the end of summer
