MAC Tropical Taboo Collection (2013)

I think I have FINALLY decided to skip all of this collection. I am a MSF whore, and have so many, but I just feel like with all these swatches they are just "meh". I think Simmer looks stunning, but I have gotten to the point where I don't need 60 of SLIGHTLY different shades of a blush, ya know? None of the e/s WOW me, so those are a no go. I might change my mind on the MSF's.... what does everyone think who has them? Are they a must have? I am NW20 skin for reference.

I`m a bit darker than you and I bought Adored and Lust and both are gorgeous. My friend works at a MAC counter and they are predicting that Adored will sell out quick. I`m also contemplating going early tomorrow to buy Rio.

I won't see them till tomorrow, now I'm concerned. I haven't seen this come up in Karen or T's reviews either. Allura didn't seem to have the blushes yet.... Yipes. Wonder what's up?

It's not that the colour is morphing or anything like that.. seems like when I swatched mine the first time, the burgundy colour in Simmer was softer or something like that so there was more burgundy than beige on my fingers, which gave that golden purple colour! Same with Sweet Samba, my first swatch was a dark bright pink, now less of the pink part seems to come on my brushes, more brown so it looks much more muted.

That's so odd, my Macy's Mac counter told me it definitely is launching tomorrow there.

I know its weird! I called yesterday and went to the counter today . 2 different MUA told me July 4th. Im gonna call a different store here tommorrow.

My black box landed w//3 MSFs unbroken and 159. I got someone else's receipt inside- different names, different items, different total. All my items are correct, which is the only thing that really matters.

Hmmm, now I am wondering if I really do want Simmer. How in the world can you get both cheeks equal? It doesn't sound possible. It sounds like a bad haircut or mood lipstick that you can't rely on. Hmmm, I initially loved the look of Simmer, but that is an issue that I need to really think about before plunking money down on a blush that, by its nature, can be inconsistent. I don't want to end up looking like Bozo the Clown trying to make everything not only even, but the same color. Thanks for bringing that up!
