Yay a new Dazzle! Booo that it launches when I'll be in the UK!I had a brief glance at this color story...I'm sorry I don't have any product names or descriptions! What I did see was at least 5 lipsticks (one was a dazzle finish!) 4 lipglasses, several eyeshadow singles ( at least 1 repromote) 2 cremeblend blushes, a bunch of nail polish, & 3 fluidlines (1 being a gold one which my girl at the counter remembered swatching & said was AWESOME! ) there were probably other items but I can't remember! Still excited though! August 22 was the launch date!

Black Karat is my absolute FAVORITE MAC eyeliner ever created. I wish it would be rereleased. I have one back up right now. Orpheus is similar but not quite a perfect match.

Black karat is black with gold shimmer, which always produces an olive green colour. The PLW liner is muted gold, no black base. Big difference.

Erine, what's the difference between Orpheus, Black Line and Black Karat? When I swatch Orpheus, I don't get black with gold, it's like a muddy black if that makes sense lol Black Line is an olive green on me. I didn't look at the descriptions of these but they all seem pretty similar. When did Black Karat come out?

BK came out with Alexander McQueen. Aside from the formula differences, the difference is in the base colour and amount of gold shimmer. BK and Orpheous are almost identical, just slight variations. They're mostly a black base with subtle gold shimmer, resulting in that muddy black with subtle green green sheen. BL is less black, more gold shimmer than the kohl powers, which gives it a more gold tone. Keep in mind that- black + gold = olive green (orpheous, BK, BL) black + red = purple (raven)

I know how you feel girl! I think next spring I'll be in Taiwan and I shudder to think what I might miss! I wonder if I can practice my Chinese at the mac counter...Yay a new Dazzle! Booo that it launches when I'll be in the UK!
