Midnight mambo is the one purple I've had to skip in a long while. between heroine, feel my pulse and my other purples I feel like I shouldn't buy it just because.

I know it's a permanent item but if anyone's interested, the I-Drive CCO in Orlando, FL has a whole bunch of Gold Deposit MSF for $21

is true, I went to a CCO in orlando on june 14th and they have a lot of gold deposit msf and stereo rose for only $21. I saw those at the one in vineland. Since I live in Miami, I usually go to Orlando with my family almost every six month, and always go to a cco, is a must.

I only went to the I-Drive one today but I'm planning on checking out Vineland tomorrow. I haven't been to that one in a few weeks. I-Drive didn't have anything that jumped out at me so I just picked up a couple Nightmoth pencils. I tried on Nocturnal Instincts & Razzledazzler but they looked bad on me :( I was also kinda bummed that they had their price increase too..

I finished my look with Rio on top of some Fiery Impact EDB - that was a good combo for toning down the warmth in Fiery Impact just a smidge. Then I went for Ronnie Red on the lips. Love Goddess might have been a better choice, but I didn't want to dig around for my tube and Ronnie Red was right there. It was a lot of color in this look - but hey, it's a party and it photographed well!
Yes, you said it! Now where's that picture!!?? Share! Share!
Both of your creations sound lovely!!

they have a lot of stuff worth getting them, I didn't pick up stereo rose since I have it already, and both pro-longwear bronzer from hey sailorl, among other amazing finds.

Update on my real life makeup friend who was stuck in the 90's matte makeup style:

We got together yesterday with plenty of time to play with hair and MU. I showed her all my favorite, modern makeup crushes, like Elude, Forever Marilyn BP, and the new MSFs. She'd never seen anything like any of them. I gave her some Adored along her cheekbones and the difference was huge, even though it was just a subtle change. She's officially converted!

I also did her eye makeup, which I was a little nervous about, because I never get to play around on other people, only myself. She already had on a dark grey contoured shadow, so I gave her a touch of the black Crushed Metal pigment from a couple holidays ago, just on the lids, with some silver CMP dabbed in the center of the eyelid and blended and it looked really fantastic on her. Really accentuated her eyes! We slapped on some big old, 60's style fake lashes too.

She wanted soft pink lipstick so I suggested Hip 'n Happy lip pencil all over, with Double Spin on top (she liked Venus too, but I thought it wasn't quite "party time" enough for her outfit and eye makeup). She's got quite thin lips, but this made them look much fuller.

She kept telling me how everyone at the parties we went to were complimenting her makeup, so that was pretty awesome. I thought I was going to mess up and smudge eye shadow all over her face. :D

I used that violet pink Electric Cool shadow from last summer all over my lid as a base for Tropica and holy moley, that is an excellent duo. I put a touch of Zestful near the tear ducts and very very lightly swept above the crease, but not all the way up to the brows, with Night Trail plw liner in the water lines and it was a gorgeous look that lasted all day and night. Those Electric Cool shadows were really excellent. I hope the day comes when they bring them back (although I'm not holding my breath). One of my favorite MAC eye shadow formulas, especially the non-sparkly ones like Infra Violet and the coral color. Is there another brand that does something like them?

Was just about to point this out. The bad part of being a pro is you don't get the free shipping perk on a small haul (and you only get it on "big" hauls 3 times)...then again that 40% discount is worth the small price of paying shipping lol (unless your shipping is more than your discount...in that case I'd say skip the discount and just pay retail....or use it as an excuse to add a little more to your order lol)
I tried to multi quote but my iPad is being quirky. Thanks for responding Richelle & BFEs-----makes perfect sense. I didn't realize she was PRO. Thanks for explaining some of the nuances of 'PRO' for me. :bouquet:

Hey liba! I love the EC shadows as well. The closest thing I know of are the Buxom Stay-There eyeshadows. You can find 6-8 shades at Sephora inside JCP, and then the entire line of 13 or 14 shades in freestanding Sephora stores.

They aren't exactly the same formula, but similar. I find them to be a bit finickier in terms of application than the ECs, though. I have to make sure to pat them on only (whereas I can sweep, then pat the ECs on). Hope that helps.

Was a bit nervous I'd get the wrong blush, since it had the picture of SS with Simmer, but I got Simmer! Yay! Not too impressed by my Adored pattern though, lol

Thank you! :)

I'm more of a highlighter fan, so more "whites" would've been perfect. But aye, who knows what the pattern will change into later. :)
