But the odd thing is... I just got my mirror and gloss and polish and some other items racking up 168.00 and I didn't get anything other than the three usual freebies???

I didn't even get the samples I requested :/ guess they ran out....also they didn't pack my second package as well so my pallet has some dust around and looks a little unsettled.

I went to sephora yesterday and shs tells me i need to spend $510 more dollars to make it to vin rouge by dec 2012. Shes like its when i spend $1000 during the year. Im like yea i aint making it. I have 987 points though but that doesnt mean anything since ive been collecting and spending points for years before this year.

how did I spend that much money at Sephora" train. I logged into my Sephora account to see if it said how far away I was from this new "VIB Rouge" status, and saw this:
"Enjoy VIB status until 12/31/14, and spend $112 to unlock VIB Rouge, our new premium membership status."
There is no way I've spent almost $900 at Sephora this year! No way! I did really get into Bite Beauty this year though... and there were those Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders... and the Ariel palette, the Jasmine palette, and the Jasmine mirror... maybe a few nail polishes and UD liners when they were on sale... ah shit.

I checked my status and
I don't even have VIB through next year! I switched to shopping at Nordstrom (Notes and price matching) and Beauty.com (coupons) and it turns out I haven't made many new purchases at Sephora. I've just exchanged products from last year to purchase new things. I knew I needed to purchase a bit more for my VIB status, but didn't realize how bad it was. I just haven't been hitting the checkout button at Sephora. I'm sure I'll be able to re-qualify for VIB by the end of the year no problem, but it's all quite shocking considering this past year was my largest grossing cosmetics year in my life.

Yay!!!! My haul
Here's one if the polishes. I really like the formula. And their all colors I love. I can see some purple duochrome in the teal/blue one. Can't wait to try that one! I Like the roller ball, not enough to get the big bottle. But it smells fresh and pretty. It's def a summer fragrance.
And of course the mirror is gorgeous!

From the pictures you can see I caved and purchased the perfume. I love the fresh cucumber scent. It also has notes of star fruit and it is sweet and slightly floral too.

For everyone with lots of points, there are going to be 5000 and 10000 point offers available on August 12th. There are some nice ones but there is no way I'd spend that much money in a couple weeks, lol.

I know! If I had known this would be an option at some point, I wouldn't have bothered to cash in my points for $500 rewards. Did you see the 5000 point MJ one? You get a purse and beauty products!
