I am still primarily interested in the trios, especially she wolf. If the quads are perm, then I will wait a while to get them. I have gotten so much fall stuff (every line seems to be having a great fall collection) that I am suffering from new product overload right now.

Now if the quads are LE, then that is a whole other story. Does anyone know if the quads are perm or seasonal/LE?

O how I am regretting not picking up smoke sable at the cco its beautiful next time I'm so getting it when I first swatched it I was like okay its aright I guess but on my way home I kept looking at the swatch and it sooooo beautiful and it was only 34 dollars

I think I want this lipstick too. You were lucky to even see it at a CCO. I have yet to find any TF cosmetics at a CCO and I've been to about 5 of them this summer.

I'm so bad. I completely forgot but I just saw this post so I called. The Salesperson said Ice Queen was for holiday and they do not have it now. She did say everything was selling quickly and they are already out of Orchid Haze and Bruised Plum. I asked about the discontinued quads and she said the trios were limited edition. But I clarified that I meant regular quads that were leaving the line. She wasn't specific but just said all the violet quads were leaving the line. So I wasn't able to get any clarification on that front.

I'm wearing Orchid Haze today with Mac Lust for Life lipgloss. I'm liking it so now maybe I could use a darker lip once fall hits so I'm thinking about the Bruised Plum or Black Orchid. I thought Black Orchid might be too dark but some online lip pics make it look wearable. I'm wondering what lipstick the WOC in the Tom Ford perfume ad is wearing. It looks fab on the model.

Well crap. I was really hoping those were permanent. We're supposed to be getting the collection in Montreal soon, but I don't think it'll be here for the Fall collection. So I'll only have a shot at these if they're made permanent.

Are you talking about Orchid Haze and Bruised Plum? I'm not sure about those. When the SA said Bruised Plum was sold out, I said isn't it permanent? She said yes it was permanent but still sold out. I should have asked about Orchid Haze to be sure. I'm guessing it is permanent but you know how it is when a new product comes out. People want it whether it is perm or not. I think Tom Ford is just a hot seller as there are so few places to get it.

I wore orchid haze today and it's lovely. However, I must say it reminds me of a more shimmery version of Chanel refinement. I might pair orchid haze with a matte transition shade next time to tone the shimmer down. The shadows are super shimmery and pigmented. I'm glad it does not contain a glitter shade, like most of his quads.

OMGosh! I can't believe I was in just in Bergdorf's and I forgot to take a look at Ice Queen. One track mind. The SA did ask if I wanted to see the fall collection and I said no I had already seen it. Too late now I'm on my way home now. I called Saks to find out about my pre-order. The SA said my name right away LOL! Wow! Now they even recognize my voice (I don't really call much). Anyway, I picked up my order, returned my 2nd burnished amber and used my $50 gift card. I still spent a lot but it didn't sting as much. The SA did say Sahara Haze wasn't discontinued which is what I was most worried about. I will get it in a few weeks. I still don't know if I want Crushed Amethyst or Violet Dusk. I did decide to get Smoked Sable since I had the gift card but they were out. Bergdorf didn't have it either. I decided to order online but remembered it was in Bloomies though I have never seen it in the store. Turns out Bloomies has the lipsticks with the fragrance in the fragrance area. So if you ever just want lipsticks, try the fragrance area. I was surprised that the SA there knew so much about the lipsticks since he was there primarily for fragrance or so I thought. He told me right away that Black Orchid was discontinued. I swatched it next to Bruise Plum and they look very much alike so I went with Black Orchid. They had Sable Smoke too so I got both. Now I wore Orchid Haze again today. I had to rush out this morning and didn't have time to decide on the right look with my outfit. I knew Orchid Haze would work. I agree with Sara ( I don't know if she said it here or on her blog). This will work as an everyday quad.

I've been playing with my haul. I really like Smoked Sable but I can't figure out if its a matte or not. It looks okay on its own but I don't know if it looks okay because I'm used to glossy lip. I decided to try it with a dab of gloss so as not to change the color. I tried it with a dab of Chanel Sweet Beige and tried it again with a dab of the pink Chanel gloss from this past spring??? I can't remember but it was #357. I'll try to look up the name later. Then I tried it again with a liner. I tried it with a Mac Stripdown and no gloss. That looked really good. I can wear this one without liner though. I tried Coco Ravish again because the SA picked it up but I told her I already had it. I wanted a more neutral nude and I remember Coco Ravish looking very mauvey. Well, it didn't look so mauvey this time. I really think my slightly darker skintone maybe throwing things off a bit. I really hope I don't hate everything once the dead of winter sets in. Maybe I need to use everything I bought recently as much as possible right now. Tried Black Orchid and really liked that as well. It didn't really look as dark as I thought when I saw online pics of it.

Tried the liner and love it. I used it over the liner I already had on but it went on so easy. Is it worth $50 or is it $55? I don't know but I'm glad I got it. Maybe people with more lining expertise wouldn't find it earth shattering. But I will say this is the first liner that came with directions. Maybe that made the difference for me. I think I will try the other pen type liners I have again to see the difference. I believe this pen is limited edition but that really doesn't make sense. A special liner like this should be permanent. I wonder how long it will last.

I still have the primer, trio and other quads to try. I guess I'll be busy the next few days.

Edit - I only used the thicker side of the pen to do a wing. I didn't try the other side yet.
Edit 2 - I just read on temptalia that the eye pen is not limited edition.
