Too funny, Erine! What do you think she is wearing on her eyes and on her lips? I'll put a large image of the look down to make things a little bit easier!

Okay. Well, I had an online chat with a MAC makeup artist about the products used. This is what she had to say. What do you guys think???

Jessica: Thank you for your patience Tammy. I am happy to help with this.
Jessica: One moment while I type out what the model is wearing from the Pro Longwear visual.
Tammy: I think it's one of the prettiest looks that MAC has done in quite a while. :)
Jessica: On her eyes: Let's Skate Pro Longwear Paint Pot underneath the eye brow and on inner corner. Layin Low Pro Longwear Paint Pot through the crease, and Rubenesque Pro Longwear Paint Pot on the lower lid.
Jessica: She is wearing Constructicvist Pro Longwear Paint Pot mixed with Tailor gray Pro Longwear Paint pot along her upper lash line.
Jessica: With Strong Willed Pro Longwear Eye Liner along the bottom lash line.
Tammy: Okay. And her eyelid???
Jessica: Rubenesque is on the lid.
Jessica: She is wearing Blush All Day Pro Longwear Blush.
Jessica: I agree! This is a stunning visual!
Jessica: Let me know if you would like the direct links to view these shades. I'm happy to provide them for you.
Tammy: Rubenesque is more peachy, isn't it? What about the lip?
Jessica: Yes, this is a peachy/pink tone.
Jessica: She is wearing Peachstock Lipstick.
Tammy: Okay. Doesn't that eye color look more on the cranberry/copper side to you?
Jessica: This could be the mixture of Let's Skate! and Rubenseque that is creating this look.
Tammy: I work for Sephora. A lot of times we see ads promoting that it is this or that product. When we look at it, we're all like, "
Tammy: That cannot be just this product. It has to be photoshopped or something else was added. You know what I mean, JellyBean?
Tammy: I do appreciate your help very much. Does it show a gloss being over Peachstock? I am seeing little iridescent sparkles going on in that lip look. I have Peachstock and it isn't sparkly at all.
Jessica: I completely understand. Sometimes things will photograph differently on certain skin tones as well.
Tammy: Sorry if I am being a pain in the butt, but I want to get the same look without buying products that aren't the actual products being used. I have done that way too many times!
Jessica: It does not mention a gloss over the Peachstock Lipstick but I would suggest pairing this look with Double Happiness Cremesheen Glass.
Jessica: Not a problem at all. We are here to help!
Tammy: All right. Thank you so much for your help. I hope you have a lovely evening. :)
Jessica: You are most welcome!

Jessica: You are most welcome!
Meh...MAC always claims the promos are different items than what they really are. I remember when they got caught using Ben Nye in one of their promos. It looks like Cranberry on her lid with something similar to Constructivist in the crease, Cranberry could be over top of Rubenesque though. Something like Hue on her lips with some light pinky or peachy Cremesheen Glass.

hmmm i think im skipping this collection after all....I got the pp's I wanted over the last 2 months since they were still 18.50.
i do kinda have a lot of blue/aqua/minty shadows, but i honestly only wear them like once a year! so i can skip Clearwater, which was the only one on my list.

I have a weird (and newly developed) obsession with paint pots, so I'm really excited for this collection. I just found Indianwood, Bare Study and Groundwork at CCO's for $13! So that just leaves Let's Skate, Constrictivist and Vintage Selection (of the ones I want that are already out). Of the new ones, I want: Perky (So excited for this one!!!!) Clearwater Layin' Low Stormy Pink Camel Coat Taylor Gray (Maybe, the swatches so far are disappointing. I wanted a true gray, but I'm going to wait to see if in person before deciding if it's worth the money or not.)

Well, I am glad I gave you a good giggle!!!

Maybe I am being too myopic, but I think it's kind of slimy when a makeup company is focusing in on a model's liner in an image right above the product line's name and the liners are down below, just to find out that it's really not MAC's Feline, in reality it is Urban Decay's Perversion.

That's my two cents for tonight. :)

Have a great night everyone!

Omg mac chat totally made shit up! Nothing from this collection was used in that promo! I agree, i was gonna say cranberry on the lid, with maybe swiss chocolate in the crease. :dunno: As for the lips, maybe angel???
I was just planning on the purple liner because I need a purple then I got to thinking that I don't care if it is pro-longwear. So what it the best purple liner MAC has? I have purple dash but am hoping for something purple-er. Thank you.
Do you want a red purple or a blue purple? Pencil, liquid or cream?

Still want at least 4 of these. Since this is a fall collection, I really wish they would have also included a plum and/or berry colored paint pot though, and a gold one. We definitely need more colorful paint pots, but I'm thinking they might be coming eventually. And MAC, I will love you forever if you ever make a pink one.
