This evening a very nice sales associate gave me a quick peek at her book of upcoming collections.

It was a bit of a blur, but I managed to glean a few items from the spring collection:
- Maxi Lash mascara in mocha
- Eyeshadow quad in aqua or green
- Two new eyeshadow duos (didn't catch the colours)
- Meteorite pearls
- Meteorite bubble blush (I think multiple colours)

There was also a mention of Cruel Gardenia (maybe a repromote?).
I wonder if the aqua quad will be much different from Les Aqua. Still deciding if I need to get that one. I just looked up Cruel Gardenia. The Meteorite is so pretty!

Missing out on Cruel Gardenia is one of my biggest makeup regrets. SUPER excited!

Me too. I was between jobs at the time, so I didn't want to spend that much, but I feel like I really lost out, as a lover of highlighters, pale, cool pink shades, collectible things and Guerlain. I really hope they bring it back!!!

Ladies, is Madame rougit a must have?!? I cannot decide if I should get it or not. Let me know what you think.

It's not a must have IMO. If you do want it for collectors sake then go for it but I think its one that you should get if you're going to use it. I love mine because I love how it looks on me but you really need to swatch it and see how you like the overall colour it gives. Individually the shades aren't very strong but mixed together the shade is really nice. The shimmery overspray on the dots was annoying, I had to remove that asap because it made me look shiny. Since applying after removing the overspray, my cheeks get this really nice sheen that reminds me of the Meteorites primer but with the blush colour added in.

TLDR: Swatch in store if you can.

In my opinion it is a must-have. It's a lovely blush, the brush is ok and the scent is a wonder. Of course there are probably dupes but on the whole Madame Rougit is delicate and the packaging is classy. Compared to the new Dior ones ( very nice but just new blushes after all ) or the YSL, Givenchy and Lancôme ones, the Guerlain blush is much more elegant.

I'm another vote for not a must have but that's bc I have a ton of blushes. With most make up items now, I try to buy colors I don't have (with the exception of coral lip products- we all have our one area lol) and this is too similar to a lot of mine. If you don't have anything in that color family then I say get it, but if you have a large collection it's just another pinky blush with a pretty design

It's more a soft coral than pink in fact, between the 2 I should say, I too have 50 blushes or so but I really love Madame Rougit !

I wore Madam Reve and I love it. The colour is beautiful and unique, I don't have anything like it among my pinks/reds. It doesn't smell as nice as my Rose Innocent Rouge G though. But I'm happy with my purchase.

My Madame Batifole is coming either today or tomorrow (the shipping won't update, every now and then it takes agesssss to update, like I'll have the package and it will still say "label created" lol) I can't wait to get it! I hope it comes before the weekend so I can wear it out Fri or Sat night

I picked up Madame Batifole! Trying to pace myself but I'm definitely going back for Flirte and now that I've swatches it Mme Reve seems pretty interesting.

loveeeee
What surprised me was that a single swipe didn't look that different from other soft pinks I have, but when I layered it, it was like it came alive and gained all this dimension I hadn't seen at first.

FYI, for Canadian ladies, I think that the angry cosmeticians made their voices heard to Shoppers Drug Mart HQ. I'm now seeing the Fall Guerlain collection at multiple SDM locations, including the one at Place Ville Marie (which is where I got Mme. Batifole). So it looks like they've gone back to the way things were.
