I like your new avatar pic. I think the Nocturnal sounds like it could have some purples for us. If its anything like the "Tuxedo Lesbians one"

Maybe some purplish mattenes again??

Restrict as a Mattene.....I would get MANY BUs

I would also like a blue mattene....many companies are releasing blue lippies.So why not a blue mattene???

Mmm that muffin sounds good. I picked up one of their Pumpkin scones this weekend, and it was delicious. I hope the Nocturnal color story is amazing. I really want some greys and purples.

I am so with you on that. A blue mattene would be great. I want one about the color of French Blue pigment. Well, that's really more of a blurple, but I am putting in my wishes.

I love those muffins! They are so moist and delicious! I forgot about them...I must try to hunt one down at a Starbucks today

Maybe I should try mixing French Violet and Rich Purple pigments with MM Matte to create my
own mattenes

I bet this collection has mattenes too. I like the form factor of the mattenes, but to be honest, now that MAC has such great, new and improved matte, retro-matte and satin formulas, I think the lipsticks perform better than my Mattenes. Some Mattenes don't really form a decent seal on the lips (Potent Fig, I am looking at you), so it wears right off the inner part of the lower lip and looks perpetually patchy. I bet a blue mattene would do the same thing, which would be annoying. I do like how light they feel on the lips, though….some of the new lipstick formulas are almost as light feeling, however, and last better. Just give me a rich, sapphire Satin or Matte (or even the newfangled Frost, like in N&M - that would be hot) lipstick and I will be a happy girl.

I still do looooove so many of the Mattenes I own: Delectable, Nocturnal Instincts, Seductive Intent, Fashion Nomad, Fresh Amour, Deliciously Forbidden and yes, even frustrating old Potent Fig!

I'd rather have new KISSABLES in seductive shades, please please please please. That is probably my all-time favorite MAC lip product. I would just lose it if there was a Kissable Lip Colour collection with warm magentas, cool purples, pale taupes and apricots, and an emerald green to go with Peacocky!

Did you pick up Deep Cravings from Indulge? That's one of the best greys MAC's done in a while (in an individual pan, at least - I am crazy for the Rainy Day quad from AAO…those greys really work for me and are good for all year 'round).

For shadows, from a collection called Nocturnal, I'd like to see something like Birds & Berries on steroids and a true royal purple that is pigmented - heck, I think I'd prefer that royal purple in a paint pot or bring back the damn Electric Cool shadows, which were just totally excellent. A royal purple in that formula would rock my socks off.

Do grey shadows usually pull blue on you?

Do you not have a lot of darker grey shadows because they never look quite right?

If you answered YES, then Deep Cravings will be for you. It's pretty dramatic and pigmented, but it's easily blendable. Great texture to it. I love both DC and Beluga from this collection and I'm usually picky about this sort of shadow, since they can be so common.

definitely time to bring kissables back.

I also think Rainy Season and Deep Cravings are good.
