O my so its safe to say she will do as modonna did reinvent over and over.
You have to be able to act to reinvent yourself and Rihanna doesn't have enough brain cells to pull it together after all the molly she's been popping. She thinks reinvention is all about a hairstyle change.

She's a bit harsh but at 90+ I can't blame her for feeling this way.

Apfel misses the New York of the 1950s. 'It was fabulous then, everyone looked beautiful,' she says in her low drawling voice that sounds like it comes out of a 1950s Hollywood film.
'Now when I walk down Fifth Avenue in the summertime I just want to throw up. It seems that the fatter and uglier people are, the fewer clothes they wear. The shorts and flip-flops and tight jeans on butts that go from here to Poughkeepsie.'
She shudders. 'I always say they should put people in jail for wearing clothes like that. Especially stretch jeans over size 10 [a UK size 14] - they should be outlawed. Ten years ago people were starting to look like slobs in New York, now it's an epidemic.'

I think it's insulting to put anything Miley or Rihanna does in a category with Erotica. There's no thought other than let's sell some records behind what they're doing. Madonna, for all her pretension had some real ideas behind what she was doing and she had solid pop hits that still stand the test of time today. No one is listening to We Can't Stop even 2 years from now.
:agreed:

It's far from erotic. More like raunch.
Showing T&A etc is not what erotica is, wish people would use the word in the proper context.

Sounds to me like she has an issue with bigger bodies. For that she can go to hell. I'm a big girl and I proudly wear my stretch, skinny jeans without my butt hanging out. These quotes here perpetuate the idea that many people have, that if you're skinny it's OK to wear anything. If you have a problem with tacky clothes then it should be a problem no matter the size of the person wearing it. The fat and ugly line really rubs me the wrong way especially considering the source. This is why they send human clothes hangers down the runway still.

This is why I decided I need Diamonds. You can really see that kind on shimmer on the face and it gives me something that none of my other highlighters gives me.

Here's a picture of me wearing riri nude with nyx brown liner
Why'd you have to post this? I was going to skip the whole collection. I dismissed Nude from the beginning, but now... *runs off to check MAC lipstick box* Sigh. I have space for it, too. And I applied Hot Chocolate just now. I forgot how much I like the color. I'm in trouble. I think I just got sucked in.

I get what she's saying. There's a way to stay fashionable but appropriate at the same time. I wouldn't wear skinny jeans/pants for a long time because i thought you actually had to be skinny to wear them...but when i tried on my first pair i was shocked and proceeded to buy many more. You just have to make sure you wear your size and not squeeze yourself into something you have no business wearing. If it doesn't look right in the dressing room, It doesn't go home with me.

Yeah, I like her style but I'm not feeling this quote. I'm more offended by that than anything Rihanna's said/done...

of course they dont come close to erotica like you say. they are just pretending its something new when it isnt its so overdone that its not erotic is straight porn!

i have grown with madonna. i feel like there is a madonna for every stage in my life when i was little Holiday, True Blue, and some like Virgen (so catchy, didnt get a thing when i was little tho) then Erotica/bedtime stories when i was 18 and Ray of Light Helped me through my worst times with UC.

lol I never liked grills or gold teeth and she's trying way too hard to get the young audience's attention.

Omg cartoonchic u don't have fixed on drama?its pure love u must get it
Nope. I wasn't on my game when the collection launched and thought all the colors were permanent and I could just get it later. I'll find it. It reminds me of Revlon Wine Not and I don't have any other color comparable to it. I thought it would be like my other deep purples, but it's not.
