RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

Ok, let me tell ya'll about my morning MAC experience. So I'm thinking me and the hubster leave the house about 9am. I'm ready at about 8:40 so he says lets go because I have to stop for gas. Okay, let's go. I get there and there are about 6 people there who when they saw me approaching, decided to make a line. I'm #7. The MUA comes out and tells everyone they're giving sheets with #'s on them and for us to circle what we wanted. She also said that it's one of each item per person. I'm like well okay, that's good because surely they have at least 7 Nude lipsticks right? I circled Nude Lipstick and Diamonds CCB. Those are the only two things I've ever really wanted. Nude more than Diamonds. They even bought the display out and rolled it so you could look at the products and swatch them. I even heard someone in the line mention Specktra. LMBO! They opened the store about 9:30. By the time the 4th person went in, she came out and said "no more Nude lipsticks". My pressure started to rise. Of all the effing things I really wanted it was Nude lipstick. I did manage to get Diamonds and I'm happy for that but in the words of Ms. Gerry on the Martin Lawrence Show, if I don't get me some Nude lipstick I'm gon turn this mutha OUT!!!!

I was wondering if anyone wanted to start a buddy system where we PM, kik, text message, etc when the collection restocks? I don't think its fair that we're doing all of the work refreshing web pages and stalking while our "guests" just sit back and wait for the "it's up!" post and decrease our chances of getting what we want. Just a thought.

I totally snoozed through the Nordstrom launch. My bf got up at 3 and I was thinking of opening the nordstrom site but my card was in the other room and I just didn't have the energy to tell my boyfriend to bring it to me hahahahahaha so back to bed I went. Going to attempt to go to my counter in a little bit!

just left my macy's counter.. diamonds never came in. they dont know when it will be in =( thats all i need to complete my collection

Try calling any nordstrom or Macy's around the country trust me I did that and they had what I wanted!!!!!

Two of my local Nordstrom counters said they weren't allowed to do so. Even customer service was unsure of the policy. I guess it varies store to store...

I ordered TTT from Nordstrom online. I got the backorder until the 7th notice, but I'm going to be optimistic about it. I reaaaaaally hope it doesn't fall through. Thanks to everyone for their help.

Really? Try calling out of you state like any where in the east coast try small cities. Try states like Michigan Ohio indiana

Its seems Nude is more popular than TTT.

I'm glad you were able to get Diamonds though.

so I'm in school an our lunch break is at noon an we have an hour my counter is prolly like 15 minutes away , I only want TTT . I called my counter and we can't put anything on hold . do you think it is even worth going , do you think it will be sold out ??

Ladies, thanks so much for your support & advice! They ended up opening the door opposite mine fist, so when I got to the counter I was the 3rd one. When I had them my order the sales agent announced I got the last Nude. It was 10:04! I felt bad for the other girls. There was a husband there with a baby....he was like "what? You're sold out?! What time did y'all open?" Bad news is they didn't get their shipment in from UPS of TTT so I have to check back in 2 days. *sigh* Called pentagon city Nordstrom @ 10 & they said that MAC wasn't doing pre-sales (before they even connected you). I'm fine with that, but I'm not fine with being told incorrect information when I called last night. I think it is more fair for people who are there in person waiting to get the item, but don't tell me I can order over the phone and then when I call switch it up. The debacle of the DMV

So I went to my nearest mall (which opens at 10), I got there at 10, walked inside, and there was a line of about 5 people at the MAC counter. When it was finally close to my turn, the lady behind the counter tells the two young girls in front of me that they were sold out of the Nude & TTT lippies - THEY WERE PISSED. lol
then this other lady comes out of nowhere and asks if everything is sold out and proceeds to argue and yell at the MAC employee and tells her shes gonna complain about this.

Wtf, people are going overboard with this. Its definitely out of control. I just got my TTT Lipliner and some lashes and left. lol

I don't think that is more popular, maybe just as popular....the problem is IMO that stores got less stock of Nude than the highly anticipated TTT (creating a frenzy). My pro store ran out of Nude before any other item and everyone seemed to be buying TTT along with their pick of other items.

I'm in this same situation (at work) and I will pass. Not wasting the gas for this.
