I had never heard of it so I didn't even bother to think of ordering from there. Nordstrom and Bloomies worked out for me anyway :)

I don't think members were giving certain information to members with "seniority" at all. There have been times I've given info to new members through PM because they asked nicely. But all of that creating an account the day the collection release just to ask where its releasing is still suspect to me. I guess we all will just have to agree to disagree.



Oh nooo lol... I've seen with my own eyes multiple times folks post that they have information about where to purchase items, or have BU's of LE items that they are willing to sell, but will not respond to PM's from "newbies" and what not. And that's cool! But it does happen. This is basically a network, and I can appreciate it for what it is. As long as I get my goodies fair and square, and paid a price I was willing to pay I'm not bothered. It's just irritating to see how much drama gets drummed up over spending money. I'm like, just buy your sh** and move around, and if you're not able to get it but can manage to obtain things by other means on Specktra, cool! And for those who create accounts just to get release information, it's pretty obvious. And STUPID, because you can get that information without having an account...

Please don't think we're bashing newbies. Our frustration is aimed more so at the lurkers who never sign up or don't have good intentions. I don't care if you have 10 posts. Just be genuine that's all. I signed up a couple months ago, so I still consider myself a newbie. If you just sign up to take and take and take, with no effort to even say hello, it just seems a little suspect to me. But that's just me. I can't speak for everyone here. But I can get a feel for everyone because I have witnessed some of the same stuff they have.

Agreed! I lurked for a while before joining, just to see what the site was all about, and the cattiness deterred me from joining for a while. I kind of picked up on the etiquette of the site before joining. But I'm SO not for rudeness and the drama. At the end of the day we are all spending our hard earned money by choice, and it's not affecting anybody else personally! Now as for the "leaking" of info and people only giving info to certain members with "seniority", lurkers and ebayers stalking the site just to snag info, it is what it is and it will never go away. We're not the only people that want product so unless the site is made private to members only, the lurking will never stop. I just don't pay attention to it because it's not that serious to me. If I don't get something because I don't have access to the information I just don't get it and I'm on to the next thing.

Yes I remember you posting the nordstrom,because I called for TTT but it was sold out then. Didn't ask about the other stuff. I guess those guests called and got whatever was available,because their SA was very nice, seriously I made so much phone calls to nordies in CA ,but their SA was amazingly nice and she wished she could help me.

This is just disrespectful to the forum and you come across as rude. That is not the spirit of this forum. The internet is open but this forum shouldn't be for people that use the information here and do not contribute. JMO.
