now i may just invest in the tweezers alone. they are $34. and the set is $50. i dont care about the mirror, and the bag or nail file. the comb/brow tool is just $9 by itself. it does suck that its sold out everywhere right now.

is it LE?

I couldn't give a toss about the nail file either but I loooove the bag and I have a soft spot for mirrors. I really like the comb too. I have a Ruby&Millie one that I bought aeons ago and the brow brush is getting grubbier by the day. I could use a replacement.

BUY ALL TEH PIGGEHS!  In all seriousness, I'll most likely skip the violet-silver one because I want it only for the glitters. Kinda stupid really because I'm not going to wear them. I already have Vanilla and Kitchmas (meh) and I don't care much for Push the Edge.  Green and Teal - I have Reflects Gold and I don't care much for Deep Blue Green. But Old Gold has been on my wishlist for a while, and that 3D gold thingy's intriguing. Black and Gold - I have Naked. I want Museum Bronze and Copper Sparkle. I love the idea of the glitters, but I'll be damned if I knew what to do with them. :wtf: OK, that was some reality check. I shouldn't buy any of those sets. At least that's what I'd do if I were a rational human being. Your list looks great! I love the colour of VG1 but I don't wear gloss at all often so I'm getting just the lippie in regular packaging.
LOL. I want Black and Gold for Naked and Museum Bronze. Don't like Copper Sparkle and never used glitters before actually but these sound oh so pretty.. Will I ever use them? Probably not lol. VG1 is in regular packaging, just accompanied with the l/g and in a bag. Ugh I should really skip these sets don't I. :sigh:

Any takers for the fluidlines? I was considering Stares and Speculation but it's a lot lighter than I hoped
ssad.gif
I wanted Stares and Speculation before I saw Beautezine's swatch, but I feel like it won't even show on my skin. I bought Deliciously Rich from the Indulge collection and I wasn't very fond of the texture either, too glittery w/out much base color.

OK I saw everything.

Yes, the blushes are what I would call spectacular!!! But, they aren't like the Naturally blushes - they're more like the Apres Chic blushes but sheerer, combined with the highlights we had in the Tropical Taboo MSFs. So, metallic highlight combined with super sheer color - what happens is, it looks like you have a very very subtle blush on, but then you turn your head just right and you see WOAH HIGHLIGHT or you turn your head another way and you see the sparkle coming up, like you would see with Alpine Bronze or Amber Glow. I thought they were so beautiful but there are caveats to be aware of.

The MSFs are in the same boat - they bring some new things to the table, but also are not entirely free of the shimmer, metallicness and even glitter that some people are not fans of, but what they do bring is very special in my opinion and wind up being much more versatile for many different looks than the Heavenly Creatures ones or even the Semi-Precious ones. I'm going to get all of 'em, though. The colors are really something else.

Same for the MES - better formulas than ever and the blacks, dark blue and purple are majorly pigmented - MAJOR. With a wet brush, they look like a very velvety, standard shadow, which is sort of a first for MES. There's quite a range of shimmer, satin and subtle glitter, but nothing over the top. The main issue is they're all quite closely related. I had an extremely hard time making up my mind - even the ones that are similar each have their own special thing.

There's much much much more to say on these, plus the lippies and the BEAUTIFUL new fluidline, but I need to do a few things around the house before I get going describing everything. I did get to play around with some of the things with a gal who I'd say was NC40, another gal who was maybe more like NC30 and my MA had tried some things out on a very deep skinned gal who I haven't met, but was very dark + NW. This is relevant, because these face products are very sheer even on my NC15/NC20. The lippies don't look the same on different skin tones/lip pigmentations either.

I WILL BE BACK SOON!!!!

The brow/lash comb is crap! You can easily skip it with no worries. The plastic comb doesn't separate lashes worth a damn, and that's EL's fault. Buy the SK one from Target.

There is a lot to say about this collection!!!

I'm still running around at home trying to do a bunch of things at once but first let me talk about something simple: Private Party lipstick (and gloss) and Exclusive Event

Private Party is really nice, especially if you want a color that's a little different but not mega-in-your-face.

I was trying it on along with this gal who had to be about NC40. On me, it looks pretty much exactly like the promo pic, especially with the gloss on top - perhaps a teeny touch deeper and redder/wine-ier, but barely. On the other woman, it looked totally different - it looked like a subtle smokey mid-tone purple, like a greyed out Riri Boy..the sort of purple for women who want purple but don't want something that blares HERE'S THE PURPLE LIP MONSTER. I WISH it looked as gorgeous on me as it did on her, but the look it had on me, while more "normal", was still very unique - I honestly don't have anything remotely similar. It wasn't brown, it wasn't wine, it wasn't purple, it wasn't plum, it wasn't red….but it was neat! The gloss on its own is great too - it's not like Narcissus or Color Saturation or Richly Revered or Looks Like Sin, but I'd say on me closest to Looks Like Sin, but with a touch more plum - maybe like a more wine/plum Rosy Romance? I'd like to call the combo of lipstick and gloss "mahogany plum", even though that's not very descriptive. Great color and great combo and great worn individually or together!

Exclusive Event plus a little Stone lip pencil around the edges is a dead on dupe for Riri Nude on me. Nude has some extremely subtle pink undertones to it that EE doesn't have, and is a teeeeeeny bit darker than EE minus Stone, but you can basically stop worrying about a Nude BU and get EE and you will be fine. I love it and with Lavish Living blush and a little black eye liner, it's all I need to make this shade not only work but seriously WURK as a total look, with my coloring. It's what I wound up wearing all day and I felt very very stylish and not poo-mouthed in the slightest!

(I had EE + Stone on my upper lip and Nude without liner on my lower lip and couldn't tell the difference in any lighting, including bright sun outdoors)
