Oh gosh..here we go again. I get you don't want too many ppl to buy new mac products and whatnot, but how do you have the right to tell others what to share and withhold? Who exactly is "we"??! Did I miss something? I've said it before and I will say it once more---> everyone is entitled to what they want. If that's the case, stop ppl from buying BUs cuz that can take up merchandise, and maybe exclude the merchandise to only girls since guys buying it just makes it more of a competition, and only make it so CERTIFIED makeup artists can buy it as well! :nono:   That wouldn't be cool, would it? if you'd like to stop sharing, then by all means, stop sharing but I'm gonna continue to share where I find product for those other fabulous ladies (and gents) that want to buy it and I think everyone else should do the same. :soapbox:  ntopic:  i was guna try for EE but I finally got riri's nude so I may skip this one and just save for her upcoming holiday and *drum roll plz* punk coutures fabbbbbbbulous purple lippies!

WE (as in the moderator, verteran members of specktra, and others who do all the dirty work to supply information to specktra) have come up with a new way to allow US notice of when collections launch, rather than posting "it's up on _____" to people like YOU who pop on here brand spanking new, cause drama by post number #3 and don't do any of the grunt work! So by all means, keep coming on here to get the information that you're used to, cuz WE won't be providing it anymore!

Your comment makes no sense. in no way is erine telling you or anyone what you should do or buy. if she no longer wants to announce something thats her decision and if others agreed thats theirs. and "WE" may be people that have more than 26 post. help run this forum by providing info, swatches and reviews, people that have been here for years.
In no way can people be stopped from buying Bus, and because of sex or degree. i didnt get that part actually. wonder why you came up with that, like you stretched her comment so much i guess.

It doesn't matter to me personally, who announce and who doesn't cuz I if I want it, I find a way on my own of getting it. But it's silly to try to persuade others to be stingy with info..it's as if you're imposing your views on others. The rihanna release was big and frustrating for everyone trying to get it but not every mac release is anywhere near like that so there's no need to try to keep something a "secret". It's so silly to me! Is it always going to be newbies against the veterans, cuz I dont feel I'm being dramatic at all. Wrong is wrong and I'm just stating the obvious. Stuff like that doesn't welcome newcomers either. just sayin...

I was aware of our new system of announcing things but I assumed it was only for Riri since it's been such a crazy launch. I'm actually glad we're using it for all launches - I guess I mistook what Erine said. I thought she meant were just not saying anything at all for a release. I'm totally on board with this new system. Sorry Erine!

Since I've been on here (which hasn't been long, so that should say somethin there),you're always sayin something catty to someone who's new, who may post incorrectly, or say something that you deem to be private knowledge. and fyi I'm not one of those ppl who profit from anything I've read on this site. I don't use this site to gain info..I use it to relate to other women who like what I like and share what I purchased. So have a seat dear...have several seats.

No need to apologize to me love! You know it gets crazy with EVERY launch! It wasn't my idea (forget whose it was tho ), but i think it's brilliant! Hopefully it prevents all the guests from lurking and gives everyone else a chance who stalks the ability to get what they want!

There really isn't newbies vs veterans here. People that contribute a lot get a lot of love in return. There's so much acceptance here of people from all backgrounds and bunnies, too. RiriCummings, I think you missed some of the back posts where Specktra members problem-solved the issue of having a few members online and like 400 lurkers waiting to buy up products. Not all lurkers are ebayers, but we just want members to have a fair chance at products, that's all.
