I think the only thing I'm getting is a couple of lipsticks.....I will have to swatch them in the store. I never knew about the Punk Couture collection until I saw Ernie mention it......of course I had to find the thread & now I'm trying to put money aside for most of those lipsticks lol. So I have to say I'm still a newbie, I enjoy coming here & talking makeup. My friends like makeup but are not as obsessed (committed) as I am. I think everyone on here is super nice & I have not had any problems.....plus my boyfriend likes it because I can talk to you ladies about makeup & not as much to him anymore :)
I enjoy the same things here, I've been here for almost a year now and love it! The ladies are awesome and give great makeup suggestions and advice and they also do some enabling lol. I started coming on specktra because my friends and family just don't love makeup the way I do so it's nice to have a group of ladies and gents that I can talk to about it ALL DAY :)

None of the sets interest me either, sad to say.
That's why I skipped the summer one too. In general, the majority of mineralize collections are on the warmer side, but there are exceptions such as Glitter & Ice or Semi-Precious. No need to be disappointed about Divine Nights though. There were still a lot of perfect-for-pale-NW items in other collections this year - and more to come in 2014.

Well if you're looking for an MSF to be a blush then maybe you should go for STBS? Are you not into that one? I like all different types of MSFs but I don't know when it comes to these. I need to either a.) see more swatches, or b.) take a look at these in person.
I'm undecided about STBS bc of the mauve-ness. I think it's really pretty, just not sure about how much I would wear that. I think I need more swatches of that one
CoA is kind of a matte/satin brightener combined with a crazy ass bright yellow gold insanity product that could be a color adjuster or disco level highlight depending on how you use it. Definitely a try-B4-buy for all except the most adventurous.
Thanks! Originally it sounded like my type of shade but I think I'm going to pass. I wanted it to have more pink than gold, from the original description I pictured a coral blush color with gold shimmers which would have been perfect for me!

With the price hike on these products, there's no way I'm going to buy online without seeing at least a few different swatches in different lighting. Especially ones of the MSFs (which will be over $40 in Canada after tax)!. Do you guys think that Temptalia didn't get anything from Mac for this collection? It seems weird that she hasn't done any swatches yet. Especially since it launches tomorrow!

Thanks for the link! Centre of Attention is a definite pass for me, it reminds me a bit of Porcelain Pink and that one is too light for me on it's own so I mostly put it over other matte blushes to give them shimmer. Looking at the Centre of Attention base color I don't even think that would show up on me! Lol I'm very pale

I love this blogger but when it comes to mineralize collections I don't share her (or T's) opinion. They do give us some nice swatches though.

Thanks!

They look lovely but I have so many similar shades already. Definite pass for me.
That's my problem as well. I have so much shimmery neutral eye stuff, especially taupes and golds, that it will take a lifetime to get through them. But those MES look so purrrdy...

It's SO hard to resist the colours you love the most!
I guess for now it's just STBS and COA for me. Will have to think about the MES.

I wish there are swatches of stbs and stereo rose side by side, i missed out on stereo rose!
I don't think they're anything alike. SR is coral wherea STBS is mauve (judging by product pics and swatches).

I wouldn't be too sad about missing SR. There's probably some in the CB. Even if there isn't any, there are plenty of similar colours out there. On me TheBalm Hot Mama and SR look very similar. It probably depends on the veining though. I remember seeing swatches where they don't look as close.

I agree with Buick. STBS is nothing like Stereo Rose. It is definitely mauve while SR is coral.

I also have the additional problem of not reaching for my MES as often as my other shadows. Dunno why. I really love the few that I do have

How quickly do MES sell out in Germany? Here they often stick around for quite a bit.

The thing is, I mostly wear matte shadows these days, so I really don't need them...

Mineralize stuff in general sells out really quick, pretty much es soon as it hits the site. MSFs and MBs go faster, but MES don't stay around much longer, not longer than a couple of days I'd say. But I'm sure I could get a CP if I do decide to get them.

Crumbs! That's quick. There's still lots of MES from AC and TR on the MAC.nl site.

As for the unfortunate "I really don't need them" comment, that is a very unproductive attitude young lady

Liba, a lot of people like Forever Marilyn to set their under eye concealer but it's too heavy for me. It looks cakey and makes me look old. Do you think the main color in CoA would work for that?
