I haven't been that impressed with it either.   Although I *love* it on others.  It sucks because I paid $10 extra to get it shipped to me!  Plus I bought two backups from a store-- luckily I wasn't charged shipping on those, because I added in a lipstick to get me over the $50 hump for free shipping.. I am keeping the one I used though to see if I can get it to work..and I'm keeping at least one backup for awhile to see if I can make it work -- I paid too much in shipping to let these go without a proper trial period.. I gave the other BU was given to my sister.. it works great on her.. See I have dry skin.. I thought that's why it didn't work that great for me. it looks SO good on everyone else.  It looks good on my sis and she has combo (normal/slightly oily) skin... I prefer Shell CBB -- it is just so much easier to work with at least on dry skin.. but I am going to keep on playing with Diamonds to see if I can get it to work.

you literally look perfect in any lipstick you wear ! I'm extremely jealous . nude is the most perfect nude for you and you should never stop wearing it ! and your skin is flawless !

I must say, it's amazing that I haven't seen one person who's posted a pic wearing RRW look even remotely not right in it. When I finally wore it out in public, I got five compliments from people and a Mac artist who broke away from her client to tell me it was a fabulous colour on me. I was pretty happy (fist pumping in my mind). Interestingly enough, I went away this past weekend and when I was packing my makeup I picked up RRW and felt a rattle inside -- it had totally come out of the plastic inside the tube. I know Erine mentioned this on another thread not too long ago and I remember reading that and kind of filing it away in my mind. Then it happened to me! Anyway, there wasn't much trauma to the actual lipstick except that the entire bullet came clean out of the plastic. I was lucky I heard/felt the odd rattle before I opened the tube as I was able to carefully proceed with opening it and then gently stuff it back into the plastic holder. Moral of the story: as the wise Erine said, don't store your retro mattes upside down just in case.

This is the bag one of mine came in (the Riri Diamonds box is to cover my address) -- like I said, both orders were undamaged when they arrived.. but still.. if a postman was having a bad day -- it might not have ended so happily for me.. lol.

where did u order from? I would call and tell them my merchandise was damaged. We ho thru too much to get our items in any less than 100% good condition

I agree with darkpearl, you can easily skip the quad and save your money. Firstly, quad shadows are often of crap quality (they like to package them with lousy ass powdery zero pay-off shades) and secondly, the colours are nothing special in themselves from this particular collection. I am very sure that you can find equivalent colours from the permanent range. I think the last good quad that I came across from MAC was Bare My Soul from Temperature Rising, but I can tell you, in the 8 years that I've been using MAC, I've bought 3 quads and kept only one (Bare My Soul).
hmm...okay. Well I'm glad I'll be skipping them!
