MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

No back ups for me!

:agree: I was considering backing up Punk Couture and Instigator, but then I realized I have sooo many lipsticks and I never seem to really finish any of them. Plus, as most of you have said, there are so many more coming out.

I never back anything up. Like others said, I have a ton of products to finish. It doesn't really justify my buying more, let alone backups.

Same here. I never finish any one of my lippies since I always forget about the old ones every time the new stuff comes out. I never use any one lippie to the point where I gotta buy it again. Well... Except ruby woo but none of the limited editions/bold ones. So yea! No backups for me.

I don't plan on getting backups I've only ever finished one lipstick and that was when my collection was much smaller. I know that before I actually finish any color I will be on to the next latest greatest collection.

I've been wearing MAC for 11 years and the only BUs I have are of Deeply Adored from the Marilyn collection (which is my favorite red ever) and Strange Potion lipglass from VV (which is my go-to gloss for spring/summer). The red in this collection might give DA some fierce competition though.

I usually finish at least 3-4 lippies a year - I guess I could dig the rest out with a lipbrush when I get down to the metal rim but I lack the motivation to do that. I like applying from the tube. I just finished Kinda Sexy a couple of weeks ago and I don't have much left of my Oh, Oh, Oh. I go through several lipglass or CSGs as well. I've finished four or five this year. I don't typically fuss with the rest of my makeup during the day, but I reapply lip products every couple of hours.

I don't usually back products up but I do have a few things put aside: 3 Forever Marilyn powders (just hit pan on my second - first thing I've ever bought a ton of), and one each of Glamourdaze, Apres Chic and Oh, Oh, Oh. I often have backups of basic items I use all the time ahead of me; I have a Mineralize Concealer, a new Moisturetint and a Blotting Power set aside. Those are staples and when I finish one, I pick up the next replacement on my next US business trip. They're cheaper that way.

I won't be getting backups. I have so many lippies that I've never finished one. I'd hate to buy a backup and then have it go bad before I ever used it.

I know right. I want backups but don't know if I'll be able to afford them unless I only buy a few things from Magnetic Nude, which I hopeee is the case

I think Magnetic Nude will be an expensive haul for me.

But if I do backup anything from this collection it would have to be the purple lipsticks.

Yeah true, I know I wouldn't finish a tube for ages but I NEED backups. They're too pretty to use up otherwise.

i have only backed up two lipsticks ever and they are heroine and nude! I normally don't because I find myself reaching for items in the perm line first and my LE's only when I need something different. IDK maybe I will back up something. However the EDMSF from Nudes and Metallics will be bought and if that means no back ups in PC then I'm cool with that.

Ooh, good choices! I don't have any backups but I was so sad when I finished Strange Potion! No backups for me. The only lipstick I have ever repurchased is Viva Glam V. I just need to decide if anything other than the grape purple in this collection is worth getting, since I just don't see myself wearing these much. That purple is too special to pass up!

I will be BU those purple lippies. That is for sure....I wear purple lippies frequently so its not an issue.

I will BU the purple lipsticks and the red if it's really great! I plan to only buy one item, maybe two from Riri and as of right now, nothing from Magnetic Nude so, that will leave BU money for Punk!
