I wonder if this is the "exciting NARS news" they posted about on FB earlier today. I have my LORAC neutral palette which I love, but I MUST have this!
:shock: :shock: :shock: It is very similar to many a neutral palette, but dammit, this one is gorgeous.

I think NARS might come up with a special collection for the 20th anniversary. Maybe it should be best to create a new topic. For example there are "final cut" blushes (see spring 2014 topic) that might just be best placed in a 20th anniversary collection topic. I'm not sure.

Looks like it would be a great place to start. I wonder if there are any original shades or if it's all existing ones? Honestly, I'm interested either way.

Me too. I still have my Best palette (9944) so I think some shades might be the same, but this has soooo many more options!
MakeUpStash said she was told to remove the picture, because people at NARS were receiving too many inquiries about the palette (and the matte multiples). I get that people want to know more about them (I do too!). But if people at NARS were ready to communicate about them publicly, they would have already, through a press release (relayed by bloggers and the press) or social media. There's no need to contact NARS and ask them questions, because there's no reason anyone should know before anyone else. They will tell us everything we need to know, on their own terms at the time they see fit. Just be patient.
Sometimes I feel bad for sharing information that I find online. I love NARS, it's my favorite brand ever, and I practically only buy/wear NARS, but if by sharing information that is already available online for anyone to see it makes their work more difficult, then that sucks.

I am so very excited about this launch! The shades all same pretty dupe-able but, knowing Nars, I'm sure they'll be extra fabulous!

For sure. Nars are especially good at creating palettes that give a lot of value for money. Even though many of their palettes are made up of existing shades, they tend to give you the chance to try out a lot of shades at a very reasonable price.
