Wow...got into the waiting room at 11:56....4 devices....didn't get through till 12:21. I guess now I officially know that there is no method to the madness that is the waiting room. Clearly, getting in early didn't help. Also, at like 12:18 I opened up another browser on my laptop and that was actually the 2nd one to get in behind my phone, even though it was the 5th thing to be logged into the waiting room.

Can I just ask why MAC lets you get in/order before the release time and have cancelled orders in the past if ordered before 9AM/12PM???

Well... my PB got snatched outta my cart.... so RW it is.... I'm glad I no longer have to deal with MAC & this foolishness from this collection!

When there's demand there will be supply . So girls, don't encourage re-sellers from re selling on E-bay by purchasing ridiculous prices from them .... Depriving others of the LE lipsticks and purchasing multiples of it only to re sell on E bay @ ridiculous prices is Crap behavior. No matter how much i like a product and if i m not able to get it, I m not goin to buy any from E-bay

I forgot about the release until I received an email. Went online and got in quickly but the 2 lippies that I wanted were sold out already of course.
When are department stores online getting it? I have not been keeping up with this thread lately

I used a credit card which doesn't show activity right away. But, I've had MAC orders not show up on my actual bank account for a couple hours so don't worry.


Didn't it say this with the last collections too?



This has happened to me before and I had to clear my cookies on my internet browser to go back to the US site.



I was also able to get in back-to-back. I don't understand why, yet some people were still stuck in a waiting room when I had no waiting room whatsoever after my initial wait. I could have placed 3 more orders if I wanted to. It's so random.



I do even though I had no desire for it before. HA! I'm just picturing my makeup having a party in that bag and it looks pretty cute.

I'm guessing they flew through their online inventory since it seems they didn't limit the quantities to 1 per piece per order this collection. I'm guessing all the resellers were there ready to pounce and got the max quantity allowed (4). I think limiting it to 1 in the past helped things last longer. But now everyone and their mother knows how popular these RiRi collections are! Making it nearly impossible for true makeup and MAC lovers to get their stuff.
And I find it really cute that when a few Specktras were able to use a link to access a past RiRi collection early, THAT was a HUGE deal and they cancelled orders and everything! But it's ok for MAC to launch several minutes early... which is all it takes for professional resellers to get the edge.
Just to prove a point, I won't get anything from this collection now. Not in store. And not during any restocks. MAC knows we'll all start scampering for their items, that's how they get away with this! And I can make a prediction already that the in store launches will be low quantity and a hot mess! This is how they are pumping us all up for RiRi's viva glam campaign. I won't let them win this one. I'm not buying from this collection now no matter what.
I'll get the RiRi viva glam lippie if I like it and it's easily accessible since it's for a good cause. The End.
