MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

My Punk Couture is on its way. Whoop whoop! I certainly didn't expect this so soon.
When did you order and do you have an actual tracking number? I called them to find out what's going on.
They said my card didn't go through, yet no one called me to inquire for a new form of payment.
Mind you, there was nothing wrong with my card except the expiration date had changed but I called Nordies
and updated that info on 12/04/2013.
Spoke to a rep who said that I am "soooooooooo lucky" because that collection doesn't come out until 12/26/2013
and I was the first person to order it and they are not supposed to do pre-orders. She said that I'm lucky I got my order in and it will ship on 12/26
since it's not out yet.

I know this wasn't directed at me macgirl006. I just wanted to let you know that I just re-checked my email from Nordstroms. I do have a tracking number. I ordered back on November 21st.

Is anyone else having trouble with their MAC website reverting to Canada?  I go to the country chooser and select United States and it'll load, but as soon as I go to any other page it goes back to Canada. Is it something on my end or is MAC being flaky = _ =

I am having that problem on my cellphone. In fact, the link I received notifying me of the RiRi Holiday launch was a Canadian link. When I realized it was the Canadian site I tried to manually put in the address but it kept defaulting to the Canadian link for some reason. I did not have that problem on my iPad.

Yes. I ordered Punk Couture, Instigator and Hautecore. I skipped Studded Kiss, but I will re-order when it's avail on MAC if I can. I don't know why Nordstrom's people are telling you that it is impossible since so many of us have already received the email with tracking numbers. That is head scratch worthy. I'm sorry you are going through this mess. When I receive my items I will let you know and try to do swatches. I have a feeling a few others may receive their items before me though. I was late to the receiving the email from Nordstrom's party. I don't think Nordstrom would send out emails saying the items are on their way if they really aren't. Do you? Good luck. I hope you are able to get this resolved and receive your items soon.

I agree. Don't mean to budge in. I was scared because everyone was getting theirs and not me so I called yesterday and the lady tried to tell me that the items were on backorder till the 23 I told her the same about how I heard a lot of people were getting shipping notices. As soon as I hung up I was sad and I kid you not 10 mins later I get a tracking number. I have then seen the tracking number go from tracking info not available to a tracking code has been created and is waiting for UPS pickup. So it is def not fake! I hope you get this all squared away. And I too will post swatches!

I just saw this on Instagram and scratched my head at the names. Except for PC and CI, what the heck is going on with Instigator and Hautecore names??? I still love those swatches tho.

I ordered Punk Couture and Instigtor on the 21st and I got a tracking number yesterday as well. I think maybe the phone reps don't know what went on bc it's such a weird situation. Officially they shouldn't be out until the 26th, but Nordstrom has that 23rd "backorder" day and then for some reason they shipped our items sooner than expected. I doubt customer service is aware of the weird Mac launch dates etc so that's probably why they said it wasn't possible that people received shipping notices. It's just such a weird situation!

Question: did anyone's order actually ship? My orders just say that a shipping label has been created for the packages. I'm kind of worried now that Nordstrom might put a hold on the packages until the 23rd , or worse.... cancel orders. Especially since people are calling nordies. :sigh:

It'll say that until Monday when UPS is open again, my labels never update on weekends

robots completely ignoring what I am saying to them. I agree LiliV that it is a weird situation and the reps are looking at only the estimated ship date.
Totally bummed right now and frustrated.

Girls can we please stop calling nordies? At least until the packages are in transit. It's the weekend. Ups doesn't work Saturday or Sunday. The trackings will update Monday. We are gonna let them know it's a lot of orders and them they're really going to stop the shippings

Well my problem is that I havent received tracking at all!!!
