i'm soo scared to ask this but..umm..what does "shade" mean?

First you arrive early like 2, maybe 3 if you live in a highly populated area and sit outside looking super tired like this:




and then other pple start to show up and look at you like this:



mostly bc you got there before them and now they have to count back how many less lipsticks or brushes/bronzers/liners they can get

then people start to chat with you to also inquire to see what you are getting. At this point you will think you are BFFs bc everyone seems so friendly!

Sometimes someone will come out and tell you how to line up in line and then someone may ask how much they have or something and then someone will reply they only have 2 Pleasurebombs and then you look like this:
bc you realize you are 4th in line and the ones in front of you don't want to talk to you so you have no idea what they are getting and now you are disgruntled like the women behind you lol

Then finally you see them opening the door and everyone is all rushing

again it depends on the situation but this may be you or may not be you, maybe you will be the stampede! be nice and take your time!

Then you line up and they check you out and you either get what you want or don't want and then pple around you will either be really sad or really happy

hopefully happy


and as you walk away you look and see all the people glaring at you because you win and they most likely will only be able to buy those terrible looking veluxequads

All of this talk about orders being cancelled if you ordered more than one lipstick got me worried, so I called Nordstrom's CS to check on mine. The rep told me that the only order issues they were having was the fact that the swatches were mixed up this morning, as we all know, so they were going through each and every order to make sure everyone ordered what they wanted. She verified with me that I did want two tubes of Pleasure Bomb, then said that realistically, my order should go out the door tomorrow but there could be a slight delay. So if you're concerned, call to check!

It's official...I have to have this color. Side note: Has anyone checked out the palettes yet? I'm wondering how they both look on woc. I saw Scandalous Beauty's post, but she only had one palette. I'm also wondering how close some of the shades in the Phresh Out palette are to the Sultry palette (I think) from the Glitter and Ice collection.

I got the palettes but now I'm worried I'll be dissapointed, I had so many ideas with them tho I thought perhaps..lol I'm not a big shadow junkie, more into lipsticks

For the fall launch I ordered TTT early in the morning and I didn't get a shipment notification until late that night. I'm thinking the same will happen this time for all of those wondering about shipment notifications.

I really hope there are no problems with my tiny order lol. I had noticed the swatches wrong last night but went after the Woo first which wound up staying around till this morning making me feel kinda stupid but I hope that means I have a better shot as I ordered right when it went up and didn't want to risk it. Plus, I hope I was able to help someone catch it. I thought about just getting all 3 but my hubby would've given me complete hell over that. But, I'm glad I got something and honestly RRW will fit into my collection nicely as it's different from my other reds. I hope everything works out for everyone.

oh a word of the wise coming from a newbie to other newbies--- don't argue, just follow along. There are reasons things r done the way they are done. You just have to allow yourself time to figure it out.

oh n i totallllly agree about the whole PM thing...jus sayin lol i pm'd ppl AFTER i got my stuff and not a minute b4 lol for that very short amount of time, it's every makeup junkie for herself

That isn't right... I ordered 2 of each lippie and I don't care if they only send me 1 but they can't cancel the order. There was NO notice on the page (during the Fall launch it STATED only one per person per product) so I went ahead and got BUs.

This is news to because when I spoke to customer service she told me that all my orders were preparing for Shipping they added extra pleasure bombs to my orders. She said I could keep it and it wouldn't get canceled because it was in Stock When I paid for it. She said as long as the inventory was available and it was paid for. That's pretty much it. Idk if that's correct information or not.

yeah what it is that MAC wants Nordys to sell a quota of the product or what ever was in their contract....but some ppl will get their orders and some may not due to "HOW much they have to cover all orders....they need to fix over a thousand to 2 thousand orders or more ..not just 500 orders....so i dont wanna make ppl worry AND ...if the ppl that ordered...a lippie and it got canceled right away.....you MAYBE...will still get your order....its just not an easy fix.....they went by a 'que' In their system...but we all hope it gets fixed..

They can't go by the name of the lipstick because if someone ordered bad gal and only bad gal.....she will get PB...in her order.....they are going by numbers and the warehouse may even contact ppl through email in few days to correct/fix orders....
