My boxes and tubes all say matte on them so I'm guessing none of them are retro mattes.

None of them are. I think MAC must have changed their mind about the formula at some point because the press info they sent out says retro matte but none of the lipsticks are actually retro matte.

Really? There was that whole thing about at least three of them being RMs. I haven't followed this thread for a while though, so I could've missed the edit that none of them are RMs. Which is fine with me, considering I prefer the new mattes anyway.
Studded Kiss to me is the color that is more versatile out of this collection. LOVE it

with mac we can never tell cos all my lipsticks from retro matte collection says matte at the bottom, only ones that say retro are riri summer's heaux and riri boy
I'm thinking what Butterfly Eyes is thinking and MAC must of changed their minds or something. I kept seeing that they were RMs too and was surprised to see on my boxes today that they were labeled as matte. If it was mentioned any besides Hautecore were matte and not RM before today I must of missed it as well. I like retro mattes but I'm kinda glad they are just plain matte.
The boxes said Retro Matte. The tubes didn't (on some). But in the case where neither the box nor the tube says that they are retro mattes then they aren't. Also, the feel of the formula clearly isn't retro matte. It's too creamy to be retro matte...even the best of the retro mattes aren't this creamy. Rest assured, these aren't Retro Matte.
My lippy from the RM collection says matte on the tube also, but retro matte on the box. MAC is weird. lol
The subject was brought up when the presale orders from Nordies shipped out and people received them because we were able to report the same info. The labeling on both the tubes and the boxes....and the feel of the actual formula. No clue as to why it was like that though. And when MAC was asked no one was able to give an answer (no surprise there lol).
