I'm almost regretting not getting a bu of it. I was thinking I would just wait for Melts but when I tried it on again I realized I liked it a lot more than I thought.

Thank you very much for all the photos/swatches/comparisons/descriptions you gave, they are/were very helpeful!!! I'm thinking on only getting Hautecore and use it to create new colors with the lipsticks I already have, but you all look so gorgeous that I'm still debating in which colors I should get. Anyone who have Studded Kiss and NARS Fire Down Below can do a comparison about those two, please? I think Studded Kiss and Fire Down Below look very similar from the SK pics I saw, and I already own FDB.

Catching up with this thread. Everyone looks amazing with their lippies. Seeing some of the SK swatches here made me order it. Don't know why I bought it, I was determined not to purchase it since I have so many reds but whatever, 1 more can't hurt. lol Can't wait to get it.

Wasn't planning to get SK but on seeing it I had to pick it up, it's different from anything else I have as I passed on FOD.

In all of the hustle and bustle of this launch I totally forgot I was able to snag Studded Kiss. I love it. Rocker is still my fav vampy red, but do love this one on my skintone. Id say the closest one I have to it color wise is Viva Glam 1. But SK is def darker. I applied a very thin layer, and it left a gorgeous stain. It almost has a pinkness to it.

rocker is my all time fave too! Still have half a tube

Ok so I'm catching up on my mac collection that released recently and I'm thinking about getting the dark deed lipstick from the stroke of midnight collection I already have deeply adored lipstick is it similar to that ?

For the people that missed out if you can access the Canadian site they still have stock on all four lippies and heroine.

Well...maybe. The only time I've EVER had problems with MAC Canada is after ordering over long weekends. I'm willing to bet that at least some of those lippies are actually sold out. That's what happened to me after the second Heroine launch (I was able to buy it online but it was really sold out) and I know the same thing happened to another board member with another collection over the summer. I don't know why, but it seems like their inventory counter is wonky. MAC Canada won't open again until December 30th and it'll take them a day or so to get through their orders. That's when we'll really know what they have left.

Personally, I think you'd be safer watching for a restock in the U.S.

Dark Deed is a lot darker than DA.

I haven't really decided yet, but I have no qualms wearing it alone lol. I'm pretty sure I'll use it for mixing too but I'll wear it alone and build a look around it.

Dark Side from the permanent lippies is said to be a good dupe so I got that. I don't have Dark Deed to compare for you.

Here's a shot of me with Punk Couture, which I love! Sorry it's sort of a silly photo, but it was the one that showed the color the best. That's PC on the lips, no liner. I've got the pale color from the plum & pink MES from Divine Night on the lids over Dangerous Cuvee pp and the mid tone mauve shade from the Temperature Rising quad in the crease. Wholesome f/l. Just a touch of At Dusk on the cheeks.

They're very close. Bling Black is more pigmented and that's why I skipped Jet Boy.

The sparkle is spread more thickly through the new ones, I have found. Compared to the old ones, I much prefer the new gold and pink. The solid black is a bit more opaque in the new version too. They're all sheer, though and I'd agree the pink and gold base color is a touch sheerer on these new ones. The end result on the lips isn't sheerer, though, due to finer but denser sparkle color. I definitely think it's not worth paying more for one of the old ones at all, since they're so similar. If you don't have the old ones, just get the new ones. If you have the old ones, compare them with the new ones - you may be pleasantly surprised like I was, if you like sparkle.

I started to post this in the Magnetic Nude thread, and then both, but I settled on just this one. Hahaha! The star of this look is Studded Kiss, my pretty! Don't mind my totally untenable brows that I didn't bother touching today. I'm getting them cleaned up on Monday & until then, we're going totally au natural! Lol! I think this might be my first selfie posted anywhere AND my first Specktra selfie! I'm excited! :cheer: Lids: Bronze. (I'm out of shadow primer, so it was a low-key lid day too! Lol!) Cheeks: the slightest touch of Magnetic Appeal to highlight, Autoerotique, and Gleeful for contour. Lips: Studded Kiss lined with Vino  I love Autoerotique & Studded Kiss so much, it's unhealthy. This is basically how I feel about almost everything from the PC/MN collections. Be still my heart!

I have Blackware still and it does not have any glitter in it. It doesn't have any shimmer and was flat like a cremesheen. I actually liked that better than Dark Outsider.

I'm surprised to see Instigator pulling burgundy on some ladies. It was exactly what I wanted it to look like on me-a rich dark purple. Also, these are the creamiest mattes I've ever tried!

Here I am wearing PC in my jammies :haha:  I don't know where to wear this shade to…I guess anywhere my boyfriend is not, since he doesn't like dark lipsticks. If I apply multiple layers of Instigator and PC, they look really dark on me where I can hardly even see the purple. So I prefer to do one layer of these (i usually apply multiple layers to even out / intensify the color of the lipstick I am wearing)

I don't wanna drain the thread with pictures of me but this is me wearing Instigator AGAIN (my new favourite lipstick!) with cream soda on my cheeks, some matte brown eyeshadows and a shitload of mascara
