I think I get more excited about thinking of the possibility of the collection when it's a celeb that has a lot of style vs excitement over the actual fact of a celeb collab. (Hope that makes sense) Say this one for instance,I think the Osbournes have a great style that could translate into a collection that would really suit me and I'm excited to see how it comes out. I'm more excited over the collection being inspired by their style than I am about it being an Osbourne collection with their name on it. I do see what you're saying though and totally agree with you somewhat, I think the best MAC collabs are the ones they come up with that are not tied to a celeb, though I do enjoy the items I got from the RiRi collection(s).

Yup the products really have to grab me too. Mac is suppose to collab with Beyonce's sister Solange? Yes I hope they collab with her and if they do they will have to do something fun with her packaging and products.

Kelly and Sharon Osbourne are such an odd choice for MAC. I don't mind Sharon but I can't stand Kelly since she joined Fashion Police. Oh well, I won't skip unless there are similar colors out there.

Yup. Maybe there will be an amazing nude lipstick or a unique blush, I could see myself buying that, but it mostly will be skip for me if there isn't an outstanding product.
Now if they put a pic of that dog on the packaging I might change my mind.

Oh no, they're not supposed to, I just wish they would. She seems like such a great choice and no other brand has picked her up. Plus, if Azaelia Banks can get a lippie I don't see why she can't lol.

I love the Mother Daughter concept but I too am over Celeb collections for the most part except designers and Viva Glam. I am hopeful for a bright crazy pink. A frosted CYY would be awesomesauce.

oh ok lol I was about to get a little happy lol. Yes that's true because AB only had 1 album from 2 yrs ago and isn't that popular, so mac could work with Solange. I would like to see mac work with Beyonce of course that's not happening and Katy Perry as well she has a fun personality I would love to see a MJ collection although he was a guy lol.

The colours are definitely going to be the deciding factor. It could be my all time favourite celeb they are collaborating with and if the products suck, I won't think twice on skipping. In any collection (for me) it's always the product over whoever's face is slapped on the package.
