My sister had a black lab and my mom has a little snouzer, one time when they were both puppies they were playing and knocked over a table outside with snail bait and eat them. we drove all over the valley trying to find a 24 hr vet cause every vet we went too turned us away, By the time we found one the snouzer was started to seize and foam at the mouth and the lab heart had stopped for a minute: they're both okay now but Its the worst to see pups in pain. I sure would've liked to thrown a rock through the other vets windows for turning us away though.

I Picked up VG today! I love it. such a flattering red. I don't know about getting the lipglass though. I don't like gloss. But if it looks like ruby red slippers!

What's is MACs frost formula like? I really hate most of their lipsticks - I find they have too much slip and end up with lipstick all over my face. But this is very tempting!!

So cranky about my shipping - I ordered mine at the same time as the majority of you all, got a shipping notification when you all did, and then my UPS tracking number did nothing until today - when it says that my scheduled delivery is next Tuesday. In what universe is that 2-day shipping?

Hang in there! My family had a similar experience when our bluenose had surgery on his knee & ligaments. It's all worth it in the end, physio will be easier for her in time They're both pretty Labs btw! My first dog was a yellow lab, and my second Lab X German Shepherd mix. Great breed!

Thanks ladies! They are definitely the sweetest breed ever, and she's being such a champ thru all this! It definitely harder on me than it is on her.

At first when i heard that vg was gonna be frost i was like yuck but i bought to see how it looked like and was amazed that it wasnt bad.I cant even tell the frost on my lips. So...i went back and bought another set.lol

I love the lipstick and glass but, the lipglass makes the lipstick look kinda warm. I will not be wearing the lipglass on top of the lipstick.

Thanks guys! [@]Beautybuyer[/@] Lily is laying half on Dahlia's bed. I'd brought hers down as well, but hadn't moved it over next to the other. They're HUGE beds! Yesterday Lily was really depressed without D so i let her sleep in bed with me last night and she just laid there staring at me. You could tell she really missed her sister. But now she's happy that she's back. I just did Dahlia's rehab and she hurt so bad! She started moaning which made me break down crying. It's not gonna be easy, but i know it has to be done. Thanks for all the well wishes

Oh she looked happy to squeeze next to her on her bed! At least she'll be able to sleep next to her after all! Poor dahlia if it's anything like people surgery her first week will be the worst and most painful. Hang in there girly she'll get better and it will get easier. I know you love those fur babies! Thanks for the swatches ladies! I'm now more confused then I was before. I definitely see the metallicy-sparkle but it doesn't seem that frosty by the photos. Is it super frosty in person?

They actually didn't have the cone on her when we picked her up. She hasn't even gone near her incision, and they said just to put it on her if she starts sniffing it or licking it, or if she's home alone. But I've been watching her like a hawk! Thanks everyone! I brought Dahlia home today and she's doing great! Very sleepy and sore obviously, but she's a trooper!

And Lily was ready to have her home too!

I went to swatch these yesterday in person at the MAC store...and the lipstick tester was missing from the display. I asked the SA if it was sold out and she said no and called out to another SA WHO WAS USING IT STRAIGHT FROM THE TUBE!!!

Mind you it was 5pm in the evening, so I'm sure it wasn't a fresh tester. Sure enough when she handed it to me, it was half used already. Then I opened the lipglass and the brush was still attached...

At this point I was completely grossed out, so I left and went and bought it at a Macy's counter. Good grief.

THAT made me giggle. I had a friend who went to Sephora and the MUA was showing her how to do a smoky eye. Next thing u know these three girls come in the shop and start putting the tester make up on like they at home using their own products. The MUA rolled her eyes and told my friend these "girls come in here everyday and do this" Testers scare me now.
