When I don't have any points, they have point perks that I want. When I'm sitting on 500+ points, there's nothing that I'm interested in.

only thing ive ever turned my points in for was the rosabontanica perk. other than that they never appeal to me. I wanted the NARS 500 point perk but I missed it
I'm not sure. I think so. I know, it's gorgeous. I want it too!

lol i think the 100 pt perks are better too! im just gonna keep stacking my points too. i wonder if anyone's ever gotten to like over 2k lol. i swatched the pantone coll and there's nothing in there thats priority to get right now. the lipstick was a big pass cuz i know i got too many pinks. surprised to see a balm tho. again...i'll wait til the sets go on sale. the gloss trio i might pick up now tho.

I believe they only had one each of the 10k perks. I would've been soooo annoyed if I have 10k points to redeem and couldn't get the Paris trip. Hell, I was annoyed and I had nowhere near 10k points.

lol exactly!! i mean realistically WHO really gets that many points tho! i wish i would've known about this when i first started sephora vib program! its been going on 4 yrs for me...i wouldve never redeemed shytI believe they only had one each of the 10k perks. I know. I've almost always had buyer's remorse after redeeming my points. The perks just aren't worth it when you consider that we spend $500 to get the points! They don't have that many bonus point offers. Either that, or I'm missing most of them. And, I have always preferred the 100 point perks as well. The 500 point perks always have one or two things that I'm interested in and the other items are duds.

Random tip I got that I like... in case you haven't heard. Request samples in stores instead of getting them as point perks. For example, instead of a 100 point moisturizer, get a free sample of that same moisturizer at the store.
For 500 point perks, I have a habit of getting accessories and jewelry. I got a Dior bracelet, YSL bracelet and the Balenciaga scarf.
I'd love to win one of those 10K point perks... but don't have that many points... a makeover/trip sure does sound fun though.

Yeah I always find the perks pretty lame but I did recently trade in for a bunch of 100 point perks when they had mascaras and nail polishes.... Things I knew I would use.... I also recently traded in 500 points for an event.... I had a bit of remorse on that since I was forced to make an appointment with the salon where the event was held in order to get the goodie bag.... But that's another whole Sephora bad customer service issue. I'm hoping the rouge event on the 30th is much better in terms of giving away goodies - it doesn't seem that it requires any points so so far, so good.

Ha, I'm hoping that is purely just makeup and not including other beauty stuff like tools, hair care and skin care..... Because it if includes that I've definitely got that number beat already in my 20s!

Oh yeah, I remember those. Thanks. You had to call in or something to "win" them over other people who also had 5000 or 10000 points.

A few questions! How long does Sephora keep "limited edition" items around for? I want to get the Bite lipstick duo and the BareMinerals eyecolor duo for the BI sale but they both say LE and aren't available in any stores near me. I don't want to risk them disappearing. Second, when do they stock new products? If it's at the start of the month that's even more reason to wait for the sale. And do they ever do codes for lower free shipping minimums? In Canada you have to spend $75 for free shipping which is why I'm strategizing when to order lol
