My JCs arrived today---unbelievably fast considering it was free standard shipping---ordered and shipped on the same day. Not that you haven't seen these before but
DC4370F6-0394-4859-AA67-ED1FC73AED08@myhome.westell.com
here they are,
Vivacite # 88 on the left & Canaille # 89 on the right.

I think HG asked me to compare Vivacite # 88 on the left and Emotion # 87 on the right.

Vivacite is so pretty. I might get this before it's gone! Mine arrived today too! But I'm still at work my hubby just received the package. Yay!

Howdy, thanks for the suggestion! Not yet, but it might be time to invest! Any particular ones you suggest?

I looked up some from MAC a while ago, and I like the 188 small duo fibre face brush.

I have Chanel JC's in Rouge and Rose Temptation which look too dark so it might be worth getting a brush to make them wearable. I'd like to use it for my Chanel cream blush too!
I really like the Chanel skunk brush and to apply the tiniest amount I often use the Alima Kitten brush, which is like the 188 but softer ( it's100% synthetic):

I know Elegant also loves the MAC 159 for very pigmented blushes.

Vivacite is really gorgeous and I think because it is so vibrant it's easier to pull off than Emotion, at least on me. When swatched side by side on my skin Vivacite is cooler/bluer, while Emotion has a sort of red-based deepness to it....hard to explain. Emotion may also just be harder for me to wear personally because I have a little bit of rosacea redness in my cheeks. Even though it's not obvious it can get "pulled out' of my skintone when I wear certain colors of blush and even lipstick.

So sorry CFTV---I almost forgot that you asked me for swatches of Chanel Vivacite & NARS Coeur Battant. I promise you, they do not look as close IRL
as this photo might suggest. I used artificial lighting because it's cloudy, rainy & dark today. CB is much more vibrant and has more pink than V. HTHs:

Thanks a lot girl! Now I'm sold with Vivacite!

Very good swatches of the blushes here:

http://naturalnchicmakeup.blogspot.com.au/2014/03/chanel-vivacite-and-canaille-joues.html

I am probably skipping based on these as they are so pigmented that application will be too much work for my lighter skin.

I might get Emotion though, it looks pretty and about as pigmented as I can handle!
I have Emotion and it's beautiful; pigmented but can easily be controlled. :)

Thanks, unfortunately every Clinique product I've ever tried has irritated my skin and caused flushing. Not sure what it is but something they use in all of them that my skin doesn't like. It's ok...as long as I don't use anything irritating I thankfully have no redness to speak of.

Glad you're going to give the really pigmented JCs a try!:)

What a shame, it's a good product! It's funny how some brands irritate us which are fragrance free and others which have all sorts of fragrances don't. Glad to hear it's not a permanent issue :)

I have gone JC Crazy lately- probably because I am cutting back on lipsticks lol

I'm w/ you Miss Tania--I've been like a runaway train w/JCs lately. I'm trying to stop w/the lipsticks too but
I recently tried one of YSLs Kiss & Blush & I'm hooked. Must allow myself just one more---at least!

Just in case this hasn't been posted yet but I found what I think might be a review on the foundation. It's not in English. Forgive me if it has.

Lol, I'm on board that train! I found JC Ultra Rose on strawberrynet and am waiting for it to be delivered, and got Tumulte for my bday and bought myself Malice all within the last 2 weeks or so. JC's are my favourite blushes and I use them almost daily.

Lipstick Control is tough, it's a constant battle

I won't even allow myself to try the kiss and blushes lol!

Hello dear partner in JC crime. I have a running JC wish list that will never end because new ones,
especially limited editions, tend to bump some of the permanent ones to the bottom of my list. I have wanted
Malice for a really long time but opted for others first. I was going through a 'pink' phase recently so I
purchased Pink Explosion over Malice and then the two new JCs became available. Just prior to Pink
Explosion I picked up Emotion, Fleur de Lotus and Sakura. I've noticed that the selection & availability of JCs
tends to vary among the major department stores.

I'm equally passionate about Le Blush Crème and I've gotten everyone of them. I think another one is on the
horizon for release???

Lipstick? Constant battle??? Well I lost that battle last night when I ordered 2 more of the YSL Kiss & Blush.
I LOVE them!

Thank you for the link! Looks like the foundation "blurs" rather than conceals imperfections. overall, nice effect!
