MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

I have a related question, and I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but how are so many people Pro members? I know many people on here are MUAs and work in the beauty industry, but I have seen people say they are Pro members but have said at other times that they have jobs not in the industry. So, how are they able to get a membership? I find this confusing.

Not an offensive question at all. I'm sure a lot of people have cheated the system by making false documents. I wish MAC was more diligent in verifying documents and qualifications because I've seen truly qualified people get rejected when they shouldn't have been. On the flip side, there are a lot of MUA's that don't consider it their main profession so it's possible that some of them may identify their industry as something else while still legitimately qualifying. I honestly think it might be a better idea to make people resubmit current proof that you're still eligible for the program when renewal time comes back around (a pay stub showing you're still actively working for example). If you are truly still working in the industry it wouldn't be hard at all to provide current documentation to show it. I would only get annoyed by a process like that if they required me to snail mail it every time (I haven't bought a book of stamps in eons) lol.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but on PRO, lots of stuff is now listed as "COMING SOON" so that must mean MAC limited quantity to PRO members so there would be enough for the regular launch. So I wouldn't get too worried about missing things as long as your ready to buy when it goes up on the site. Good Luck ladies! Hope you get all your goodies... And "GUESTS" I hope you get NUFFIN! They also want to know what we think will sell out first, or what is popular so they can buy those items & put them up on ebay

I never looked into it before last year but I saw a bit of the Ebay craziness for the last RiRi launch. I know I mentioned it before but how can you have 30 lipsticks from a collection that was supposed to be restricting items to customers and be selling them for $60.? And pre-sales for MxPS for Ocean City at $45. up? I like Ebay but that's not cool.
