I have a question about the beauty powder but im sorry if this is a really dumb question. Basically, I'm getting better at the moment after being very unwell for a long time. But I'm still in so much pain that I have to do my make up lay down in bed. To make things easier I've just been using Mac Mineralize Natural powder instead of a liquid foundation as it's much quicker and easier for me. It doesn't quite give me the coverage I'd like but it looks pretty decent. Anyway, my question is, since I'm just using a powder foundation, can you still use the beauty powder (or a similar type of powder product) on top? For reference I use the Mineralize powder in light plus, and I'm very pale (I basically haven't seen sunlight in almost 4 years and was very pale before). I just don't want to buy the BP if I can't use it or won't really get much benefit from it. TIA for any help.
You can definitely use it on top of the MSFN. I don't use foundation either, only MSFN in light plus as well (but do keep in mind this isn't a powder foundation. It's just a powder. There's a big differentce. That's why you're not getting the coverage you'd like, cuz it's not a foundation. But i digress), and i use BPs and other highlighting and setting-type powders on top without any issues. So feel free to powder away without any worries!

I have had this makeup for days but hadn't had a chance to try the eyeshadow until tonight. I Love LUV it, I don't wear Eyeshadow often, I'm a Lipstick kind of girl. However I do buy a lot of MACs big Limiteds and wear them on special occasion. By far my favorite so far. Marylyn Monroe's Preferred Blonde I wear by itself. I will get up early to get another lipstick At Macy's before they sell out. I can use a extra. :haul::yaay::type:

Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it. I thought it would be fine but I wasn't sure. It's only recently I started to wear the MSFN, i use to always use liquid foundation. Could I ask, seen as though you wear the same shade, what concealer (if any) do you use? At the moment I just use my YSL touche eclat under my eyes/along my cheekbones and on my nose (as a highlight plus gives my the extra coverage I need here), but am needing a concealer for breakouts. I usually have clear skin but I recently started having Vitamin B12 injections and I'm having an awful reaction to them with my face breaking out really badly.

Maleficent is online at MAC UK now. I was a bit surprised to see it so soon.

I ordered the lipstick and the beauty powder.

It looks awesome! Really loving how it looks.
Thank you ladies, I am going to save it for Winter, as I am closer to NW20 now and I think it will look better as I lose my tan (went to Cancun in March) and I get closer to NW17 or 15, but only because I like my Elude and FM BP at the moment.

I have powder foundation (like the L'Oreal Nude Magique) and I don't have problems with it being too powdery or chalky so I think if you are combo or oily it works, maybe not if you are super dry or looking for that dewy complexion, but I try to avoid that! I think it layered fine over my liquid to powder foundation...HTH

I'm NC20, so i use that on my face when needed, but NW20 under my eyes.

Thank you both for your help. I decided to leave this particular beauty powder but it's good to know I'll be ok with this kind of product. I was very close to ordering when it launched on Mac UK today but I'm trying very hard not to buy make up so I managed to talk myself out of it.

So I decided to pick up Sculpt and Natural BP today. I was too worried about them selling out if I waited until tomorrow. The MUA used natural BP over my foundation while I was there. It's beautiful. I haven't got a chance to play around with either yet but they are pretty. I actually like the packaging.

I also decided to pick up the 109 brush to apply the sculpting powder. I've been wanting this brush for months.

For any of my NC15 gals, I've been using Sleek's contour kit (Light) and compared to Sculpt it looks like bronzer! The SA told me to use a light hand but it will still make a great contour for pale ladies.

You're welcome :) I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope you went to the doctor to make sure there's no fractures on your right side.
I didn't go to the doctor. I'm stubborn. The right one is finally starting to feel better. I've been laying with it elevated, a heating pad on it, and taking anti-imflammatories. I can finally walk down the stairs now! It's definitely not a break. It's either a ligament or a tendon that was all sorts or jacked up. How it happened, i don't know. I'm just glad it's starting to feel better. Another weekend of makeup on a bum leg was not sounding like fun!
