I started a swatch thread for this collection in the swatch section :)
There hasn't been any swatch thread for collections for a while, because I believe people were only posting them in the discussion threads, so the swatch section became pretty quiet.

I think she was trying to make me feel guilty for buying something and being excited. I said "he's got something for me!" And she says "I have a broken wrist because of that UPS man." The reality is that her wrist has healed, and it got fractured because she was walking down the yard towards his truck , of her own free will, and fell. Not really his fault. Ugh. But thank you!

I think Modern Lure looks beautiful. I almost got it myself. I think a lot of people were afraid of it going on patchy and really having to work with it. I think a lot of people were also concerned about how yellow/orange the bronzers are. Most people that said they were getting them said that they were only doing it for the compact. I don't have any experience with MAC's bronzers, so I can't really say.

Ah, the old guilt trip...yes I'm well versed in those. My dad is the King of guilt trips! He claims it's because we're Jewish and it's his right as my dad to lay on the guilt! LOL. My mom, on the other hand, tries the guilt trip thing for her own selfish reasons and this is why we haven't spoken in 2 years. Parents...ugh. My advise is to rip open the packages and savor each and every item! You earned it!!

Because Monday is a holiday, anything shipped today can't arrive until Tuesday even if sent overnight. That really isn't MAC's fault; we don't have Saturday delivery in Canada. It sounds like they got through many of the orders yesterday but some didn't meet the shipping cutoff time yesterday afternoon. I'm not surprised given the volume of orders.

I know I'm getting mine today, but if it had gone until Tuesday I wouldn't have been unhappy with the service. I just got lucky that my order got out yesterday.

lol girl it will past trust me its so much more beautiful stuff coming out you won't feel bad for long. The product is too small for the price. You can't justify that especially with makeup when there is banging product out there..I'm here for you!

Yeah I know it's all on the Monday holiday. I out my orders through before 12pm yesterday so I was hoping I'd get them today. #firstworldproblems
