I get that everyone here is excited to get their new pretties, but I'm about to cue the 'call the Wahbulance' speech.
You just go ahead my pretty, and call the Wahbulance speech. Just do it.
I hope you never have your Mother, brother in law and Grandmother all die within 6 months of each other, your sister get admitted to an institution, your teenage daughter cutting herself and wanting to kill herself, so you have to sleep with one eye open wondering....and find out a friend was a back stabbing witch who made up lies about you thus breaking up 2 other friendships, all because she was jealous of you. oh yes, and you have health issues that cause you to be depressed, constantly anemic and bleed for 32 days fucking straight. so you need emergency surgery.
oh yes, and in therapy you realize the reason you have issues is that you were molested for years and tried to bury the memories. Al;l this in the last year.
so yes please criticize me coming to a wonderful makeup addicts forum....and expressing my feelings in a place that should be safe and comforting. Please, see if it makes you feel better.

Went to my pro store yesterday, since they always have collections up a week before general launch. Of course, this time they didn't. By the time I got home- late afternoon- pretty much everything was sold out on the Canadian site. I might check a regular store next week, but this has served as a great reminder of why I've drifted away from Mac in the last few years. It's just no fun anymore. Congrats to all of you who got and love your products. I hope you get lots of use out of them!

Awww Elegant, you just made my day! I just got home from the dr. Please adopt me! I feel like all my life I've been looking for a mother figure who isn't a nut job like my mother is. We go years without talking, then we do because I feel guilty or because she's in need of money. Then her craziness starts and I have to back off again. This last time I was dealing with my husband being in ICU because of a pulmonary embolism that almost killed him and she needed money. $4 to be exact that I had to drive almost 70 miles round trip to give her because she and her other grown daughter, different fathers, couldn't come up with it. I said F this. I'm done being used. And then she wonders why I never had children. My dad, now that's another story. He's like my best friend and I'd kill someone if they messed with him! Sorry for oversharing!I'll adopt you then! :frenz: I'm a good crazy fun mom/mother-in-law that supports my kids. And, I share my mu stash too

I do quite enjoy it actually. I used it today for my make up. Some brushes irritate my cheeks and this one did not.It needs some friends.

My dog keeps barking for no reason and every time I jump up to see if UPS is here, but it ends up being nothing at all.My UPS guy is late! Oh well. I'll know he's here when my border collie starts yowling at him.

Okay a few things:
1.Please don't mind the disgusting burn on my hand
2.I didn't realize how badly I need to pluck my eyebrows until the flash of my camera showed me every stray hair hahaha
3. Goddess of the Sea is LOVELY. I'm so glad I decided to get it!
4. The swatches on my hand are a brown liner from Lush, a blue liner from NYX, same NYX liner over a black liner (my AA lippies were just 2 of lots of new makeups today!!
5. Super pleased. 10/10. Would recommend ordering things you aren't even sure you want in a panic while at work.

Beautiful swatches on you...I'm a little disappointed as it took about 3 swatches for SMHM to show even a little on my hand. I'm an NW45, my hand is a little darker...

Is your mom my mom? Cause throw in a dad like that and you've got my family. I cut them out of my life years ago. From borrowing money, stealing my money, calling my boyfriend a f@g (sorry, bad language) to his face, calling me fat, making my dad almost kill himself from a bad divorce, calling my career worthless... No. She can't be in my life. In the south, I'm a jerk for doing that, but I won't stand for it. My new guy will NEVER meet my family. Cause I would never subject him to that.
