Hmm I try to keep up with all the pages but clearly I missed something last night. I'm used to using Google or live chats or emails to get launch dates etc and you can Google promo codes etc so I don’t think I have to ask much about that. I know people asking questions about the launch might be anxious but I'm trying to keep up with the threads out of courtesy as much as possible. Sometimes I'm in such a hurry to catch up that I forget to log in until I have to put up a swatch or comment. I know there will be days when I won't get the time at all so I'm trying to make the most of it. Don't know what's expected of newbies here but I at least put up swatches if I can't always read thru the threads.

Just enjoy, be cool, and try not to ask the same question every 15 minutes without kinda knowing what was said earlier. In huge threads that is hard sometimes.

I'm a new member (lurked for the official MAC release, joined later that day and have been in silent stalker mode since then). I'd just like to thank all of you lovely regulars for allowing people you don't know (yet!) to enjoy your antics, laughs, and encouragement while waiting for various retailers to get their acts together and take our money. This is (uh actually I mean these are)my very first MAC purchase(s) and all of the information shared here was worth 1000x more than the various blogger/youtube previews and reviews. I am a sucker for teal, and this collection had such lovely, non-intimidating colors that I finally took the plunge. I have always been impressed by MAC quality, but a little shy of the bold "statement" style that seems to be a hallmark of the brand.
Anyway, I can't wait to get my hauls, from MAC and Macy's. I didn't know about the free overnight shipping until it was too late, so the soonest I will have any cool loot is tomorrow afternoon. To wrap up my specktra introduction, I feel like I would be remiss if I did not include the following pictures. Enjoy!

I do have an eBay account; I lurve eBay! I am not down with a $60 MAC lipstick, though. Gouge. My friends are the ones who benefit from my unused makeup items, even if I have to force it on them.
