As a newbie I don't how I feel about certain things being said. I for one don't have information to share about collections because where I live we don't even get a quarter of the collections you guys get and the collections we do get are like two months later. We only have two MAC stores here. However I come on Spektra to look at swatches because I love anything makeup related. I also sometimes will post if I see certain things are restocked on a site for anyone that is interested here. But I find as a newbie you feel like an outsider sometimes with some members. Not all. I've asked questions about products and how wearable they are on certain complexions and have been completely ignored.

if you ask about products and how weaable the are, there are many of us who will respond. But you must tell us your complexion or post a pic. No way anyone can tell you what to choose if you don't show yourself -- unless you know your colouring.

don't take what we say to heart it's all in fun. sorry you don't get collections where you are.. there are some ladies here from Barbados maybe they can guide you. but if you don't have access how will you get products at launch? we post swatches and stock dats as well as restocks... but we are not the companies or the stores so that makes it harder for us to help you sometimes. this is a kind of go with the flow thing.

if you join in I am sure you will get responses.

I'm still a newbie myself, but all anyone has to do is speak up and join in for longer than a launch.
Much like in school if ya feel like an outsider join in.
