Speaking of reviews...I read one on sephora the other day that gave a product a very low rating because......dut dadda da.........They "didn't pay attention to the price when they bought it"

I'm wearing AS and SMHM blush and they are just perfect on my NC25/30 skin. I'm even thinking of getting a bu of AS
I showed my fiance my haul last night and he liked the packaging a lot. I almost had a panic attack when he wiped his grubby finger on my AS
then he said it was a cool formula since it felt like a cream and powder.

So, I finally received shipping notification from Mac for the order I placed moments after launch on Thursday. Only AS and RG were listed on the notice. I had also ordered 3 l/s and a blush. I called and they said they didn't have enough stock to fill my order. She said she will call me if they hear they are getting a restock. I'm a little cheesed but not terribly heartbroken, guess that's a sign that I over order lol. If I decide I have to have these items I can make the hour and a half trek to Mac on Thursday. We'll see. Hope everyone else is able to get all their goodies!

Exactly! I look at the swatches as well. I really don't care what they have to say, I am going to get what I like anyway, I look for color, texture and etc.

Love them both so far! The packaging is even more gorgeous in person. I was worried about the bronzer not being a good match for me but it's probably my favorite one that I own!!

Oh man I read a NUMBER of idiotic reviews for the summer sun protection set that gave it one star because they were upset the set had sold out. None of them owned it, they were just really upset they couldn't get their hands in it. OK so I took a chance and ordered the VAE last week with the bronzer for this collection. OH MY GOSH instantly fell in love! I have been raving about it ever since, It was funny to come on here and see you guys talking about it.You'll love it! The one thing to remember is that it's not a mask tho. Many people on YT and IG use it as such, when it's not. Doing so causes the volcanic ash to remove more of the skin's oil than it does when using it as a scrub, and this can throw off the skins proper oil levels, throwing the skin all off balance, causing it to produce more oil in the end, making the skin more oily than it started out. Just an fyi when you start using it. The sad thing is that a lot of the people i see on social media using it like this are mac employees and i just cringe in disbelief

It's good that it worked out for you but to me it's just further land sliding evidence that MAC does not have the capability to deal with the hype and popularity of their product. These launches seem incredibly mismanaged and are testing just how loyal their customer is willing to be. It started feeling abusive to me a few years ago. You should have had all your items provided to you and at the very least a raincheck issued. But they did not even notify you- that's unprofessional. They're really losing their grip.

Same here! AS is just perfection. And it's still not sold out here in Holland! :shock: His paws shouldn't touch the beauty that AS is.
