People say that people with black hair shouldn't use a straight up black, but use a dark brown for their eyebrows but I disagree. Luciferismydad uses dark brown and ebony together to get it to look really dark so you could try that.
I guess it depends on what kind of look you are going for, but I would never use black on my brows and they are very dark. I used to have black and purple hair in high school when I did all the brow plucking and even then, black would have been too much. For me personally, I can get away with a variety of shades for my brows as long as they have a cool undertone, which is sometimes hard to find. If I use a brow product with a warm undertone, it is very obvious even if it is dark enough.

I have black hair and I use ABH Brow Wiz in Granite, and the powder duo in Ebony...those are great options for darker haired peeps...

Thank you. I think they are fine when I'm going for a light makeup look, but I have a hard time with them when I have a more dramatic face look. When I'm not standing in the sun like in the pic, they look black compared to my brown hair. I have a hard time finding brow products to give them a bit more definition, but without making them so dark that the color looks unnatural.
Have you tried using a tinted brow gel that's a lighter shade? It'll lighten your brows just a tad so that they aren't as dark.

Correct. No matter how dark someone's hair is, no one has black eyebrows. They don't exist. That's why i was glad when MAC DCd their Velvetone brow pencil. It never sold because, thankfully, employees knew better not to put people in a black brow. It's too harsh!

The only one I have tried is Anastasia one and the brush was just too big, so I didn't really give it a good chance. I'd had my eye on the new MAC brow sets, but I need to figure out which one will work for me.

I've actually seen someone with black eyebrow hair and a dark brown looked too light.

Looks like I will be sticking to just KYY!! DG is pretty but I think it will be too pastel for my NC/NW45 skintone (I'm starting to change to NW since it's getting warmer lol) & with Sharon's collection, the gold gloss would be cute but since there's another gold gloss coming out in the Pedro collection idk which one I should get!!

Been at work all day but heard buzz of T and Karen's reviews of this collection. Going to peruse the thread now and catch up on all the hot gossip. I'm still sticking with my choices of DG and KYY as I am "skipping" this collex. Love to read up on al the products though.
