MAC Sharon and Kelly Osbourne Collection (June 5, 2014)

I almost added KYY to my list but I have CYY and never use it...lol, so it won't be added lol...almost wanted Kelly's quad but I think I will get the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette instead...

I have CYY but I like that KYY is a different finish which seems more wearable to me

Agreed, it does look very nice, but very dupeable...I may try out NYX Mauve (one of T's dupes) and see if it's decent. She also said Nars Love is close, which I have, but it doesn't look like a dupe tbh I unfortunately have to do some carving, my arch hairs disappear (can't grow properly from all the years of wrong shapes and pluckin) so I have to draw them in. I try to make it as natural as possible everywhere else though :/ stupid overplucking fad!  I have neither because I always thought I had so many bright pinks, but I just have Impassioned, FOF and Dear Diary from MAC, KVD backstage bambi in both formulas, and  maybelline vivid in Fuschia Feirce...so I probably need KYY lol..no?

If you don't have either of those then I say go for it!

So now I am thinking... Kelly's lipsticks...maybe even the nude...I keep going back and forth...I'm NW15(or so they say, hah) Strip Poker...yay or nay? @erine1881 ?? Kelly's blush looks pretty, and I love the name but....I know I have a ton of pink blushes somehow similar. Her quad is looking too soft and boring. Sharon's quad, looks nice but I don't need anymore neutral shadows. I don't wear enough gloss and not a fan of those patentpolish type products. Definitely want the lip liner though! And her blush is actually very pretty. The MSF'S I am on the fence...they look pretty, Kelly's is probably more my shade than Sharon's, and ok I could probably get away with getting neither! So my list! DG l/s KYY l/s (I know I have CYY but I like this finish!) RH l/s SP l/s...? Y/N/MAYBE SO? Cranberry l/p Peaches and Cream (maybe) Refresh or Jolly Good msf (jury's still out, hah) Lord, I don't think I have made up my mind at all still!

I think you can pull off Strip Poker with your coloring. I mean, if you can't, then pretty much no one can. I would probably use a liner with it, but that's just personal preference.

Girl, you know. All the lipsticks! Plus BUs.  DG has stolen my heart. So has Riot house, and strip poker. Kelly's msf almost did for a sweet second, but at the end it just didn't wow me enough.

I am still a little pissed it won't look like that photo above of Kelly wearing it where it appears more blueish silvery. Maybe we will get one that looks like that in a future collection. Haha, it feels like an eternity when you want to read a thread but Specktra is down for maintenance. :haha: :nods:  Not trying to be snarky   , and I'm not a fan of T either, but I feel like we have the same discussion with every collection that's released. While it's completely understandable to talk about the lighting, skintone, application etc when it comes to swatches, as well as disagreeing with someone's rating/reviews, I feel like it can get to a point where it's just bashing someone.

The thing that most people don't realize is that it really isn't all that anonymous. If you do something bad enough for the police to get involved, they can and will find you. And I designed how I wanted my dressy to be and tomorrow I will pick out my fabric and pick out my lace exactly how I wanted it. And make my own veil. On other knewwwsssss: I got my refund from the original dressmaker. Now should I still leave an awful review on etsy tho?

Don't worry about it bring awful or nice-tell the truth. People can come to their own conclusions. It wasn't a smooth transaction at all and people need to know that. I know I'd want to.

RH and SP are going to require a liner for most people. I love my fleshpot, but I would never wear it full force or without a liner.

The way I usually wear fleshpot (which is even lighter than SP), is by applying dervish liner (lined and filled in) and then I apply fleshpot full force to the center of my lip and blend out to get a gradient.
