Yes, the packaging is amazing. As always, it would be nice if they would make more universal collections, though... at least for the big collections.
Since were up all night, I must ask-what's the feeling about the colors that came out with this collection? Anyone else think they're more fall than summer? If it's been mentioned here I didn't see it but I'm almost sure it has...

Yes, it has. I definitely agree. Feels like a fall collection.

i think MAC was trying to mix it up since they released Playland and it has alot of summer colors.

To be honest, this wasn't a good nc50 girl collection so don't be too down. There are things to work with, but IMO no WOW products. The packaging is really the standout for me.
This definitely was not a good collection for my darker skin tone. I can find a way to use all of the products that I purchased but the packaging was also the standout for me.

That's true. I didn't have to do the super stalking for playland so I forgot about it already lol

I even purchased the bronzer knowing it does nothing for that compact. I never collect packaging but between riri fall, temperature rising, and now this, I'm changing my tune. They've been GOOD lately...

I purchased the bronzers also, lol. I have always been a sucker for cute packaging and this one really did me in.

I am backing up AS....I figure, I will wear it almost daily, so it will run out quite soon as my only all over non shimmery bronzer. Thanks to those who pushed me over the edge lol

Plus I'm saving money by skipping osborne blushes (probably...I need to use the blushes in my stash!)...so it's all okay

Enjoy shopping tmr everyone!

hmmm I should have written that I tried the studio fix powder. I think i might be in the middle like you. i can't mix the powders but I wouldn't go through all that trouble you do. wow. that's a lot of work.
When sephora, chanel, or Dior people match me i'm always in between 2 shades. there is never a perfect match and I only would use the powder so I can't mix them. It's probably why I don't bother with foundation to begin with. I tried to be matched with Urban Decay too. they said I was a 2.0 in the naked skin but it didn't match up the same with the powder version. I also tried the Sephora camera thingy but that didn't work at all. the shades it picked were all over the place. There must be an easier solution for you. I wouldn't have the patience for 4 different products :(
U know what would be awesome? If there was a cosmetic company that would custom make foundation colors for you! Like when u go to a paint store and show them a color u want they mix it for u. why isnt that a real thing? Like the Lip Bar but for foundations!!! I swear i wish i was rich i would so make that happen. I hear this all the time that u ladies have a hard time finding a match.

I think that the eye shadows are stunning on dark skin. A lovely dark skinned lady posted swatches in the AA swatch thread and i was envious how amazing they looked on her!!!! And i sometimes can use bronzer for face powder cuz im tan, so its useful for something!! and lookin pretty on your vanity

I want to try some of the other MAC foundations, but they won't give me samples at the local store  (I'm in Germany and I don't speak the language well, so I get intimidated easily lol) so once I get back to the states I'm going to explore some more.  The last year or so MAC has expanded many of their foundation lines to include some lighter shades.  Even the studio Fix powder has some new shades like NW10 and NW18.  I have thought about just sanitizing a bowl and mixing both of my Studio Fix fluids and then putting them back in the bottles mixed to the right shade, I just haven't gotten the guts yet.  Besides I have pumps on the bottles, so that makes it soooo much easier to just squirt out one or two pumps from each bottle.  When I add face and body, it gets tricky, I have to actually pour those out.
Oh hun, no need to buy the F&B foundation. Just get the F&B MM. Add it to your SFF mixture and it'll bring it down to a sheerer coverage. Plus it's cheaper than the foundation.
