For those of you who didn't see my YouTube video, here are swatches of the goodies I got from this collection. (and layered, too!) You can always see the live swatches on my video (link in signature) if you want to see how they apply and compare to other shades.  arty2: Here's Roxo (alone) Here's Mirror (the silver lipglass) Here's Gold Mirror (gold lipglass)  Here's Roxo with Mirror Lipglass overlayed Here's Roxo with Gold Mirror Lipglass overlayed.  Some have said that the lipglasses are very opaque and full coverage, but I didn't find that to be necessarily true. Clearly they layered over Roxo just fine without masking the color. I think it depends on just how much you build it up. I don't like a ton of goopy lipglass so I applied these...not really lightly, but a normal amount I think!  Loved everything I got in this collection! 

Love love love. Now I think I need the glosses.

Someone on low buy, @liba, anyone! Talk me out of getting the quad!! It looks so pretty in everyone's pictures. I have all the Naked palettes but not All That Glitters or Sable.

if u dont have Sable or All That Glitters get it!!! those are two of the best mac shadows ever made. then the two new ones are so pretty i want it so bad but i have the two perm shades, i still may get it if somehow im not so damn broke in a few days. im sick so dont see how i could get it ugh... u should tho

I must say I love all the lipsticks. And the blush is easy to apply. Smooth and pigmented. I'm so glad I listened to Liba and got it. An F grade? Please

If you have all the Naked palettes, you don't need more nude shadows, do you? Plus, this quad is slightly on the warm side - it's hard to tell from your picture how warm or cool you are around the eyes. Personally, my feeling about nude shadow is you find 2-3 that are the perfect ones for your skin tone (taking into account different finishes) and then BAM, your work is done. Maybe just check it out in person to see how good it is or isn't for your coloring.

Is that anti-enabling enough?

I commented on her blog on three different occasions asking politely whether she uses a clean brush for every new swatch. Well, my comments were never released by her.

MAC should send her a brush cleanser. O.k. that was mean. But it's the truth.

Don't hoard your lovely gloss - it's got a shorter shelf life than lipstick in the first place, so you might as well enjoy! It's not too late for you to find a BU or 3 when the collection releases in stores, plus honestly, these are such especially nice silver and gold glosses, I wouldn't be too surprised if they came back again down the road.

I've been lucky with my lipglasses. I have one that is 4 or 5 years old and still looks a smells perfect. Probably a little gross that I still use it from time to time, but I still do! Lol. They really need to make these glosses permanent. They are truly exceptional.

Love love love. Now I think I need the glosses.

So I read earlier that mac made some calls and some will be getting their replacement product shipped out monday. I called mac and the woman told me that the correct gloss has already been put in and will be shipping soon. I asked if I would get an email and she said well its been done manually so no...hmm maybe im being paranoid but the conversation with her left me doubtful. Its totally discouraging to deal with a makeup company who keeps screwing up so often. Whatever the reason for the screw up, this is a million/billion/trillion (point is they have tons of money) it shouldnt have to be so hard to order and get your order fullfilled correctly.

You could say I'm biased in favor of MAC and you wouldn't be totally wrong….

BUT, I didn't go into looking at that duo with the attitude of expecting it to be some heavily pigmented blush (or any attitude at all). MAC just plays around with textures and finishes so constantly, I don't look forward to consistency. I think "OK what new craziness are they coming up with today?" That's what I like about the brand. I could see some others be annoyed that every time they buy a new blush, the finish is new and different.

I'm 100% all for sheer, light, easy to deal with textures that look effortlessly natural and can help me use fewer products overall, so that's another reason I'm open minded. I'd say this blush wouldn't look right on top of full coverage foundation and then with highlighter and finishing powder on top - it'd just get buried under all that other stuff. It's so much for grab-and-go simplicity. So it depends on your personal makeup needs!

You have the perfect coloring for it, too! I think this blush is one of those colors that'd be particularly nice on redheads and redhead-attitude types Perfect for laying a light wash over cute freckles!
