I don't think that's awful at all, it's a really nice colour on you. It's probably that you're just not used to seeing those kinds of colours on yourself - I was like that when I first started wearing some things. Give it a few tries and I bet once you get used to it you'll like it a lot better.

So this happened today. I bought so much from this collection and I had intention on getting nothing but mirror.

Got the quad and Coral today

Here is a sucky pic but even in bad lighting the color still shines through. I am NC50 NW43 for reference. And guess what I have absolutely nothing on my face. No foundation no msf bare skin and it's still gorg. It's a def must buy. If anybody would like the number in Vegas to a couple stores pm me! Hi Hun x not seen invisible lip liners before Hun Just tried it again and it's not for me I'm not 100% sure though And it may just sit there like some of my other red ones lol I was just looking through all my mac lippys I have on display and all of them have been ruined by my LO I knew my red lippy had a big slit in it as it was obvious my LO cian had got hold of my lippy as there was all red lipstick on my dressing table this was a week back or more But my other ones have too I have just looked have just spent half a hour putting them on my lips trying to sort them out I managed to save most but angel is a tad ruined as can't seem to level it out So when I put on lips it goes on fine But I can feel the big dip and feels horrid when applying it lol x Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Feathering is when the lipstick crosses over the lines by the lip and kind of goes in the small lines. You can use an invisible lip liner to outline just outside your lip line before you would use your regular lip pencil (if you so choose) and then put your lipstick on. Urban Decay, Make Up Forever and I beilve Too Faced has invisible lip liners. The one by Urban Decay is called "Ozone". What an invisible lip liner basically is, a waxy clear liner that creates a barrier (a dam of sorts) so the lipstick won't cross over. Now the only thing I have found with using this type of liner, and depending on how deep your lip lines are on the outer edges, is that it will keep the lipstick in place, but you can sometimes see where it would spill over, but doesn't. If that makes sense. It won't diminish the look that having creases around your mouth create, but at least it won't be finding its way into every crease. I hope that helps.

I think it looks nice on you, too! Maybe you just need to get used to a stronger colour on you. I tend to be a bit timid with a strong colour, and just wore Roxo very lightly like a stain, and I liked it. So maybe just really blot it down, and see if you like it better that way. I think feathering means the colour starts bleeding and going over your lip line as the day goes on.
