I went by my MAC about an hour after opening--everything was there except the lipsticks. I checked out Sharon's quad after reading The Beauty Lookbook's review and agreed that it's a really nice quad so I got it. Also got Innocent Patentpolish and pussywillow, which were really nice in person. I had already placed orders for some other things from this collection online, so I didn't stress about anything else there.

I would love to know your thoughts on Innocent.

The MAC I went to today informed us that they didn't get any of the Riot House or Strip Poker lipsticks. (We were there at opening). Another customer calls her out on it & then she says "well they've been purchased all by employees" ... How fair is that?!

I would contact corporate, I doubt they didnt receive those lipsticks. A makeup artist told me the employees arent allowed to purchase from the collections for 2 weeks. Even after I bought my stuff today a woman from another makeup counter was trying to purchase all the lipsticks while she was on the job, smh not fair.

well i heard that they cant purchase the items from new collections until its been out two weeks. im not sure how true that is or if they can purchase it still without a employee disc.

I was soo pissed if i wouldve known they were gonna screw this up i wouldve placed those items on hold at my local mac like i did for KYY & DG, you had one job MAC, ONE JOB!

I would love to know your thoughts on Innocent.

Innocent is nearly completely sheer on me. I picked it up because I saw that someone on the thread was going to use it to soften Riot House and Strip Poker down. Innocent's texture is not glossy like a lip glass, so I thought that was a really good idea and want to use it the same way (plus the moisturizing quality when worn alone as a MLBB thing). I think RH and SP will go on a little too dry on me (I'm taking Claritin a lot these days, and my skin is showing it!). So it's going to be a grab-and-go thing, plus to soften matte lipsticks down w/o getting a high shine.

I have an order in already for Ruby and French Kiss. But Innocent I think will be virtually clear on my pigmented lips--a little like a balm, really and will lighten the color of the lips a few shades lighter.

Definitely report those people! I understand the struggle of wanting things from LE collections, but rules are rules and if those MUAs want to keep their jobs, the rules must be followed! I used to work for Macy's Impulse counter as well as Sephora, and the only time I purchased product was on my lunch break because you could get in big trouble if you were shopping on the job.

Ordered strip poker and riot house, and got riot house and in sych lipliner instead ! THANKS MAC!

Call them ASAP and tell them about the error. They keep a certain amount of backstock in case this happens. Usually they will allow you to keep the mistake product and send you what you are missing for free.

It doesnt look so in the pic. But I just got Magenta liner and paired it with Dg, it gives such a pretty shade. I think that will work if you feel it washes out!

I think you must be talking about standard post vs first class. I've only sent things first class through USPS and you do have to pay for delivery confirmation. I just checked.

Yes! I totally thought it would be more pastel purple but on me it's pretty dark
