MAC Sharon and Kelly Osbourne Collection (June 5, 2014)

I am so behind on this thread. There is no way that I can catch up. I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I can't find the answer when searching the thread. I really like the look of the Bloody Brilliant quad but I'm not a fan of the packaging or the lightest shade (Spoonful of Sugar). It seems too frosty for my taste. Plus I just can't afford to buy this palette at the moment (especially if I'm not in LOVE with all the shades). I've heard on YouTube (mrslolalynn) that Phloof is a dupe for Spoonful of Sugar, Quarry is a dupe for Fizzy Rose, and Digit is a dupe for Tickety Boo. Does anyone have those shadows to compare to the Bloody Brilliant quad? Or does anyone know of any other dupes out there?

By the way, everyone looks so pretty in their new goodies! I've been skimming the pages of this thread to see what everyone got but I just can't keep up!

Yep, sad. Instagram is the new eBay, apparently (no fees, less accountability). Worse, if they don't sell they can always return the items rather than get stuck if no one buys. They aren't fans/users so...

Wow Peaches and Cream is pigmented! Used a light hand and it was still bam in your face! So I really had to buff it in. Here's it buffed in with a light dusting of maleficent BP over to soften it up a bit. I was a good girl and didn't use a filter on my face this time! Lol.

This is Mystical lipstick over Cranberry lip pencil. Excuse my tired post-work face.

Everyone is looking really stunning in their goodies. I am super behind and absolutely sure that it is impossible to catch up. Not sure if this is late or old news but I saw a make up artist use Riot House lipstick mixed with Heroine and also Kelly Yum Yum. She was giving some tips about the versatilty of RH. I am a gloss girl but I cudn't help but to be intriqued. She suggested adding RH in the middle of the lips after the bright color. It is supposed to resemble a sunset on the lips however she did it on her hands. Very ombre looking. I do recall her saying that RH can tone down the bright colors, anything that is a bright red, pink, orange and purples. She also suggested using brown lip liners to create a natural look. She mentioned a couple like Beet, Currant, etc. Not sure if this will help anyone but I thought I would share her enthusiasm and tips here. Sorry and my apologies if I am repeating anything. Stay beautiful!!!
