My most vivid memories of Brooke are from the 80s when we were both teens. Calvin Klein, Blue Lagoon, Endless Love, etc. Back then she was my girl crush. LOL

I rarely buy individual e/s anymore (and if I do, I immediately depot them) because I prefer the ease and value of palettes. I'm up for buying one more over the holiday season when they all get released, so we'll see if this one is it. I already have a neutral MAC 15 palette but if these are all new I might be in trouble. I'm hoping to be blown away by Vice 3, LM Artist Palette 3 or KVD/Too Faced and I'll only buy one.

I LOVE the fall and holiday collections. I already have purchases planned and companies haven't even confirmed that they're making the items on my list!

15 pan palette sounds interesting along with the lip combos but that's about it

They actually don't sell that poorly, surprisingly enough - at least at my local stores. They certainly are very sparkly, though….
Do they look very sparkly on the eyes, as opposed to the pan? I wonder if they are like the Japanese eye shadows. I picked up a couple of Japanese palettes while I was in Tokyo (Kate and Visee), and those look very sparkly in the pans but have a more subtle shimmer when they are actually worn. The Japanese ones are very pretty, but you have to put them on with your finger as they apply a lot better that way than with a brush.

Well damn. The burgundy is a lustre. There isn't a lustre in my collection that I don't regret buying so that's a skip. I'm unsure of the other lipstick, being a cremesheen. I should look at my cremesheens and decide. With the other collections coming out, however, this is looking like a skip. Shame, with such nice sounding packaging.

would you guys say the 15x eyeshadow is a good starter palette? was considering the neutral warm or cool palettes, but might spring for this. my mac eyeshadow collection is quite small and i'm bored of urban decay after all of the smoked, naked 83000, vice etc.

I think it would be as long as you don't mind that the shadows are glued in and you won't easily be able to switch them out. The perm colors that are in it are all really nice shades though, so if the others are good quality then it's worth the money. I personally prefer to make my own because I can customize it to my liking and replace shadows that I use up or switch a few out if I get tired of them.
