What a fun day----sans the annoying SAs. I was thrilled to hear about Trafalgar because I ordered it. The look on the model sold me & your feedback confirmed my choice.I had fun shopping & eating today at Nordies. The crazy SAs about drove me out of my mindThey made it so hard to shop, swatch & browse. Endless chattering, questions...agghh. It was impossible to take pics in the store. My Nordies has a very strict no photos policy.
Anyhow, I swatched all the Dior & Chanel & Smashbox..... The Dior es palettes are divine. They had already sold out of Trafalgar. The darkest shade in that palette was so beautiful. All the shades in all the palettes were very pigmented & smooth. I loved loved loved the Bar lipstick which is a sheer Mauve. It is soooooo beautiful. I just wasn't sure how it would look on my very mauvey pigmented lips. It was a favorite.
The Smashbox palettes had THE best pigmentation & smoothness of everything I swatched & the shades were beautiful. I LOVE their Legendary lipsticks & just ordered the limited edition shade Bing. Its a gorgeous slight oranged red.
I also bought one of the new Bite matte lip pencils in Tatin - a beautiful vintage carnation pink. I will get the red one next.
Got a sample of the new Dior Hydra Life Close-Up Pore Reducing Pro-Youth Moisturizer. I tried some on the back of my hand & my skin was AMAZINGLY smooth & soft & radiant looking. I'm going to try it on my face tomorrow.

Ah, renovations can be stressful and annoying, but in the end it will be worth it. I had my en suite bathroom re-done last year and I hated having to use our main bathroom, but it's so much nicer now.
I have ordered Innocence, I can't wait to try it! I'm sure it will look lovely on you.

I LOVE Bing! I swatched Cherry & the mini & loved both lol. There is one shade in that Cherry Smoke palette that I LOVE LOVE...its the reddish brown. I really love Smashbox products.
