I feel like the only one that doesn't mind the rectangular packaging. It'd be cool to see what design they came up with it. Or if they did another packaging similar in shape to the Making Pretty collection. SWOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNN!

Love your girls' set-up! I have the exact same stool too with a different cover. I was using the Malm dressing table as well until I got too frustrated with the drawer not opening as far as I would like it to because I could never reach what was in the back. I switched to the Micke desk also from IKEA and I really like it. Here is my set-up now :amused:
I'm a few days late but wondering which light bulbs do you guys use for makeup?

I can't use anything from ikea because it all has to be hardwired into the wall and I live in an apartment :( I'm just never going to have a vanity. Not kidding I go sit in the car to do my makeup, it's the only place with okay lighting.

I do the same thing unless it's summer, and then I have to do it on my bed. Lighting sucks in my room, but it's better than putting foundation on a sweaty face!

When the worker at target rang it up she was like "oh my gosh this is so expensive" I was like no lady it's actually a good value and good brushes!!! She still thought I was nuts.... Little does she know I usually pay 20-30$ for one brush hahaha

I have never bound anything from Ikea to the wall. I live dangerously.

I read that the malm table is supposed to be attached to the wall. I only read that bc I'm picking it up this Sunday, but my first thought was "How the hell do you attach a desk to a wall?! And why would anyone want to do that?" I thought that was weird. Glad to hear it's holding up!

Count me in for living dangerously with no screwed in furniture. The only ikea stuff I ever did that with was a billy bookcase with glass doors. It tipped over if I didn't. I just bought a little desk from IKEA for my vanity. It's working out great.

Hi lol ikea furniture always come with those stupid safety brackets to put everything u buy on the wall It's a safety feature lol It's like the malm drawers sometimes if u have them on a carpet and open the drawers it can tilt over Anyhow you don't have to bracket them to the wall I had safety brackets with all my alexes and malms I have nothing screwed to wall not even my tall cd towers x
