I remember that fateful day in April 2011, when I decided to join a friend at the black | Up boutique's grand opening in Paris. I got a makeover, started feeling myself enough to take a bunch of selfies, and the obsession began. Oh...and then I joined Specktra 9 months later and then it really went downhill from there! LOL!
But we're all SO happy that you are here!

My mom's name is way too long to fit on a lipstick tube lol...I considered getting Grace cuz that's my grandmother's name...but I'm not a fan of that color
I'm going to have to look that one up. Grace is one of my niece's middle names. :)

So now after saying I could stop at the 4 lippies I own, I have decided to "look" at Jane. I totally forgot it's one of my middle names. :haha: kinda an airhead moment but I only use my first middle name and tend to neglect the other two.

Dominique has arrived...and oh my goodness I cannot tell you how much I adore her! What's so unexpected about this shade to me is that if you apply it directly from the tube, you get the cool-toned, slightly greyish purplish shade I'd come to expect (which, on me, looks a bit too harsh for my liking) BUT! If I start to blend it in with my finger, it warms up a bit, making it infinitely easier to wear but still giving you a purplish hue on the lips.

It's so overcast here I could not capture the color accurately on my lips. But I did get a decent example on my hand. Above is a single swipe (a bit greyer IRL than it's showing here). Below is a swipe blended out with my finger. This is true to color (at least, on my skin). It becomes sort of an iridescent lilac and that does translate on the lips. I am over the moon. As if you didn't know, you all need this.

I love Silvia!  In my vast purple/pink lipsticks it's my favorite.  Perfect mix of the 2 and doesn't really lean too much either way.   My Jane came in yesterday!  I need everyone to really consider Jane if your not.  I can't imagine it not being fabulous on everyone.  It's not too in your face so it will be great on those days when I need to dial it back.  Lol.  I don't really do nude lips much so this is perfect for me because it has some pow but it's not screaming.  It does remind me of a fall lipcolor but honestly I'll be wearing it all year.  Of course, I tend to never care about rules like that.  I wear super dark lips in the middle of summer.  .
My kind of gal lol go on with ya bad self :D I do the same. i wear vampy lips in any season. I wear brights in winter, if I feel like it. Jane is an all season lippie, fully agree.
