I've just read this entire thread, and, it sounds like you guys are just my kind of obsessive! <3
I decided I had to have the big palette, since I don't have any MAC shadows (2 pigments, though), and it was such an awesome deal. At first I didn't think I was going to have money for it until next week, and I was hoping it wouldn't sell out. But LUCKILY I was able to obtain funds to purchase it at launch (mark of a true addict?). Then I got up at 5PST and refreshed and kept setting alarms for ~20 minutes forward and then falling asleep. It was kind of hell. But one of those times I woke up and it was live and I got it!
I picked 2-day shipping and haven't yet received a shipping notification. But I'm super excited to get it, esp. since it sold out.
But god...I really didn't need more eyeshadow...

I am so glad I was able to get the big palette this morning. It is meant to be a gift from my Husband for my Birthday on the 11th. Part of me wants to avoid this thread and all beauty blogs so that there will be some element of surprise when I get it. But I am pretty sure that I won't make it until then. In fact, I will probably talk him out of it the moment it arrives. I am terrible at waiting!

No, I skipped it. It looked okay, but I wasn't a fan of it on me due to it being so light and frosty. I'm not overly nuts about light pink in general though so that could also be why I scrunched my nose up at it. Lol
