Lighting is making it all look off

Yep, it really is. The thing is, that lighting effects some colors/shades more than others. Some still will look spot on even under those lights. It is a crapshoot.

I miss back in the day how she would swatch before she started giving us 'diffused lighting' versions and the like. Her swatches used to always be very accurate. Now, I don't know. :/

Oh and I know some people were complaining that she takes the same pics and angles over and over again but I honestly don't mind. I think that helps give a controlled environment so her pics are accurate across the board. Accurate based on how she takes them, not the color themselves obviously. LOL

I wasn't complaining at all. Lol. I'm just so shocked/impressed/in disbelief about how she can take the exact same picture EVERY time. That's talent. I might have complained about her earrings though...if not I did now.

I think I'm only getting one lipstick ( FnF if it doesn't sell out) mainly because nothing else pops out to me and I think they totally missed the mark on names. Where is time warp or transvestite or even magenta (I mean come on her name alone would of made for a easy lipstick) they've been really missing with these unique collections in my opinion ( seriously no blue product for marge wth)

Lol, I wouldn't call myself her biggest fan but sometimes I think she gets unnecessary flack on here. But, as the old saying goes, you can't please all the people all the time. Her current use of lighting could be tweeked, however.

Naomi, Suddenly I have no freakin idea what I want from this collection. I may skip it. According to T's swatches, the only lipstick that looks remotely tempting is Sin and I already have it. What are you feeling like purchasing. Everything, something, or nothing??

Going off T's swatches, only the palette looks appealing to me. I'm still getting all the lippies minus Sin though because I feel that her lighting was making everything look a bit brighter than it is.

Agreed, her reviews are very thorough and her site is a great resource, her lighting is just a bit too harsh.
