I know how you feel! I'm in western PA, and unless I want to go to Philly (which I'd love to do, but that's a day-long round trip!), or out of state to Ohio (which is just as far away), I'm also screwed.

What's more is they closed some of the MAC counters within my city, too--WTF MAC?

Aww, I'm sorry you have the same problem!

There was one other store here almost two hours away, but it closed shortly a few years ago. As it is, I have one Macy's counter within 30 minutes of me and two more almost an hour away. Not really conducive to easy shopping when one place sells out of something. I often end up paying shipping when the item is literally coming from less than 30 miles away, just because I can't backtrack and get to those places fast enough to buy in person after I already went to the counter 20 minutes from home. And I would spend that much on gas, as bad as traffic is here.
