MAC x Rocky Horror Picture Show Collection (Oct 2, 2014)

That would be a pretty big mistake on MAC's part if they aren't approved for the waterline. I would say lawsuit-worthy if someone were to have a reaction!
Update books are made every season, with the latest info on products and how to wear them.
Sadly which is right idk.
On top of all that, even some MAC artists say it is approved, while others say it isn't.

The update books are made every season, but I think they include a lot of copy/paste information from past seasons. The update books have been known to have glaringly incorrect information in the past. My guess is that they weren't approved previously and now they are, but the info wasn't actually updated in the update book.

FnF, CI and BF... if I'm lucky and not driving to work when it releases!

Very interesting. I still plan to get both greasepaint sticks. My waterline isn't sensitive at all so I'll try them out and report back.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! I'm also going to contact MAC about this and see what they say. Someone better have the correct info there!

Agreed...and if it "is" safe for the waterline, then the website should probably make a specific and blatant notation at the bottom of the website page...

So has the MAC site.
I am not trying to fight anyone on this, just merely stating update books are made every season.

It really is, just like the case of Fix+
It depends who you talk to, unfortunately
That's definitely true. I do think that the site is more likely to be updated with the current info, especially when it could cause people harm, but I'm going to contact them and get a definitive answer.

They do. They flat out say it on there that it is safe for the waterline. That's what I don't understand. It says this...

"The ultimate product for achieving a come-hither, smoky look. Blend it out as a shadow or use as a liner (on lash or waterline) for a more dramatic effect."

That sounds pretty straight forward to me!

Yeah...confusing. As it was believed to be unsafe previously, and now for whatever reason, they have been found safe, they should probably pull out that important fact and make a separate and specific notation at the bottom, rather than bury it within the description copy. Just my opinion on how to make it more clear, and not leave oneself open to potential liability lawsuit issues...
